Chapter 272 - 272

Simmons' expression remained unchanged, but his heart skipped a beat. "Unless what?"

"Unless she was created," Eddie sneered.

"Haha, can't you tell if she was created or not? You're the expert in that area." Simmons' expression remained the same, but he was very uneasy inside.

Unexpectedly, Eddie laughed loudly and said, "Of course, Ada is indeed genuine. You might not believe it, but I gave her a strange potion. If anyone dares to do anything to her, something very interesting will happen."

Simmons was a little curious. "What will happen?"

"They'll turn into a eunuch!" Eddie exclaimed.

Simmons' expression changed. He knew this scumbag wouldn't joke around; if he said they'd turn into a eunuch, they absolutely would. He wouldn't try it easily. He would secretly find another substitute to become the true Ada, an Ada that belonged only to him. "Interesting, truly interesting."

"Alright, let's get back to business. I found the potion that allowed Spencer to stand up again, it's related to the T-Virus. I'll provide you with a sample, and if you want me to continue assisting with its refinement, you'll need to provide me with commercial conveniences." Eddie began to enter businessman mode.

The two talked in secret for an hour and quickly finalized the matter.

Carla remained in the Indian Ocean laboratory, developing what she needed while working for Simmons.

Eddie and Simmons flew back to the Western Federation together. Eddie was going to the laboratory in Oak Town, while Simmons was tracking Sergei's whereabouts.

The Hunters and mass-produced Tyrants dispatched by Sergei, along with the Nemesis cooperating with the Talos Tyrant, formed a bio-monster army that completely routed an Eastern Slav Republic oligarch group closely related to the Federation's interests.

This would severely impact the Federation's international standing, and few armies on land could withstand such a monster army. Unless missile attacks were used, one nuclear strike, and all troubles would vanish.

However, this was not realistic, especially using nuclear bombs in areas outside the Federation, which would lead to a world war. Even Simmons could not bear such responsibility, so he had to find Sergei, kill that 'Rooskie,' and seize the Talos project data for himself.

Half a month later, Eddie left the laboratory, tossing out a test tube of serum. An old man was needed here for testing; it could restore an old man's strength and vigor to that of a middle-aged person, but at the cost of losing his masculinity and dignity.

This was not something Eddie could control; his mission was complete.

Arriving at The Pentagon's restaurant, a woman wearing delicate red-rimmed glasses, a ladies' suit, and black stockings with high heels walked over. It was the chocolate beauty, Hunnigan.

"You're off work?" Eddie wasn't surprised at all; he had genuinely been joking back then, but she had taken it seriously.

"Mhm, I've had more free time recently. Want to watch a movie together this afternoon?" Hunnigan invited.

"Of course, I have time. You've worked hard during this period. Can you take some time off?" Eddie grinned mischievously.

Hunnigan nodded. "How long?"

"A month, I guess. I have something very important to give you." Eddie seemed to remember something.

"I still have two months, but I need to apply in advance. I need a week to prepare." Hunnigan nodded, seemingly thinking of something, and lowered her head, blushing slightly.

"No problem, I'll wait for you. I'll just look around here," Eddie laughed loudly.

Chapter 450: News of Wesker's Parents

Meanwhile, on the beach, Hunnigan was learning combat techniques from Ada. Both of them dealt with intelligence, sharing common topics.

Moreover, Ada had actively sought out Hunnigan, seemingly needing to discuss something.

Annette hummed a tune as she entered the laboratory. She had been doing very well recently, walking in high heels, beautiful and elegant. After leaving Umbrella, she lived a more carefree and comfortable life.

"Where's Sherry? Wife, I haven't seen her in a while." Eddie tapped on the smart motherboard. He was responsible for developing higher-level artificial intelligence to help him better manage laboratory work.

"She went for secret advanced studies. Don't worry about her, no one can scheme against her," Annette said proudly. Being able to raise such a capable daughter made her immensely proud.

"I was just asking. We're not short on money now, so it's time to research the secret of immortality." Eddie looked at the Turritopsis Dohrnii in the cultivation tank, realizing that exploring this secret was quite challenging.

It required precise calculations, and first and foremost, a more advanced supercomputer. Red Queen was already advanced enough, but not quite. Its processing power had exceeded its own limit and needed to be upgraded.

"Christine and I will research it, you don't need to worry. You should go find Ada; she might need your help." Annette waved her hand, her languid charm ever-present.

On the other side of the island, Alex was still developing her improved T-Phobos Virus. This idea, derived from adrenaline, essentially involved maintaining a stable mindset, allowing for continuous modification and evolution while maximizing brain protection.

Alex did not use live subjects for her experiments, nor was it necessary. She observed the virus's condition and used specially cultivated plants instead.

In comparison, these special vine plants reflected viral changes more effectively than the human body. Human experimentation, in Alex's view, was simply a more primitive and less efficient endeavor. She reflected on how much time had been wasted in the past.

Eddie had originally intended to find Alexia, but the queen was with January and Suzuki Yoko, engaged in higher-level computer programming, preparing to create an even more advanced supercomputer.

Relying on her husband for such a task, with his inconsistent work habits, who knew when it would ever be completed. Although they already had long lifespans, living four or five hundred years was not an issue.

But wasting time was shameful, and being idle was boring. Finding something to do was better than dealing with the troublesome children at home.

Their daughters, who had grown rapidly due to the virus, always had countless questions; 'a hundred thousand whys' was an understatement. In their eyes, there were a million whys, asking until even the most good-tempered Suzuki Yoko rolled her eyes.

In The Pentagon's underground prison, Wesker, by bribing personnel and using high-speed teleportation, evaded the surrounding surveillance. He disguised himself as a delivery person and, step by step, arrived at Spencer's confinement location.

The aging Spencer's health was deteriorating, and he was barely alive, relying on medication. He could have lived for several more years, but due to Alex's medication, he was now increasingly weak.

Wesker finally reached a hundred meters underground, seeing his frail former employer in this prison made entirely of leather sofas. He was also the person he hated the most; he had to see Spencer and get a clear explanation.

"Your meal has arrived." Wesker opened the door and walked in.

The aging Spencer leaned in a wheelchair, with two tubes on his forehead transporting nutrient solution. After hearing the sound, he burst into laughter, "I knew you would come find me."

Wesker clenched his fists upon hearing this, feeling that he had been manipulated once again. "You've been waiting for me all this time?"

"Cough, cough, I wasn't waiting for you, I just understand you. You are my child. You've come to understand some things, right? Ask away, I don't have much time left anyway." Spencer coughed.

"What is the Wesker Project?" Wesker wore sunglasses, making it impossible to discern what he was thinking.

"The Wesker Project was to select gifted children, raise them, and then screen them using the Progenitor Virus. The successful ones would possess supreme power and wisdom. You are my most perfect masterpiece. Alex is the same; both are perfect talents with power and wisdom," Spencer said intermittently.

"You said I was created?" Wesker clenched his fists.

"No, you were born naturally, but your parents were both highly intelligent individuals, achieving top accomplishments in their respective fields." Spencer coughed a few times.

Only then did Wesker feel a little better. If he had been a created person, he would have been unable to resist killing the old man in front of him.

"Where are my parents?" Wesker clenched his fists; he wanted to find his parents.

"I don't know, perhaps they're still alive, perhaps they're dead. I haven't received any news about them. Your father's hometown is in Scotland, and your mother's hometown is in Northern Norway. Cough, cough, anything else you want to ask? Your time is running out; they'll check on me." Spencer coughed.

"How many assets do you still have? Give them all to me." Wesker directly made an excessive demand.

"Cough, cough, as long as you can defeat Sergei, all of that will be yours." Spencer once again betrayed his subordinate.

"Why did you research the Progenitor Virus?" Wesker asked again.

"Immortality! Eternal life, that's what I want, cough, cough, I will become the god of this world, immortal." Spencer said excitedly.

Smack! Wesker slapped Spencer across the face. "You're truly a crazy old man. You can go die; I'll watch you die. Hahaha!"

Beep, beep, beep, the warning sound outside rang out. Wesker glared resentfully at Spencer, then turned and quickly departed.
