Synopsis
In the ashes of a finished tale lies a broken destiny. A man from Earth dies in a fiery car crash and is reborn as Raymond the destined Hero of a fantasy world. He slays the Demon King, claims glory, marries his love, and dies peacefully of old age… only for fate to cruelly reincarnate him as the very villain he once destroyed. Now trapped in the body of evil, haunted by heroic memories, he must navigate a world that sees him as the ultimate threat. But the nightmare deepens. The novel’s unfinished author is ripped from modern Earth and summoned into his own story, as the Hero Raymond once more. Two souls. One destiny already written in burnt pages. As prophecies crumble and roles reverse, the “Hero” and the “Villain” must confront the ultimate question: Who truly controls the story the characters, the author, or the cruel hand of Fate itself? In a world where even death cannot end the cycle, one man will burn the script of destiny… or be consumed by it.

Chapter 1 - Ashes of Eternity

In a quiet neighborhood, a young man ran a small restaurant. It wasn't grand, but it was his. Mornings began with the aroma of fresh coffee and sizzling breakfast; evenings ended with the soft strum of his guitar as he sang old songs to the lingering customers. His hobbies filled the quiet hours: fishing on weekends, sketching in a worn notebook, reading fantasy novels late into the night. He had family who depended on him and a girl he loved deeply—the one he planned to propose to once things settled.

Life was ordinary, hard-earned, and full.

Then came the car crash.

He had stopped at a bookstore to pick up a stack of new novels. Rain-slicked roads, a truck that didn't stop. The impact was sudden and violent. As flames licked the wreckage, he lay pinned, blood in his mouth, clutching the books like they could anchor him. His mind raced: his parents' worried faces, the ring he hadn't bought yet. I can't die like this. Not after everything. Not when there's still so much left.

Through the smoke, he saw one book lying open on the asphalt, pages curling black in the fire. The title, half-legible: Burnt Pages of Fate. Then darkness took him.

But death wasn't the end.

He awoke to a blinding white beam tearing through the sky above him. The light pulled, lifted, remade him. When it faded, he was lying on soft grass under an impossibly blue sky—younger, stronger, a translucent window floating before his eyes.

Welcome, Summoned Hero.

You have been chosen.

Quests appeared. Stats rose. Power flowed into him like breath.

He became the hero of prophecy.

He grew swiftly—sword in hand, magic at his fingertips. He defeated bandits, sealed ancient evils, saved kingdoms. His name echoed in songs.

He met a girl, a healer with quiet strength and a laugh that felt like sunlight. They married under a sky full of stars. A son came first, serious and determined like his father; then a daughter, bright-eyed and fearless. He taught them to fish, to strum chords, to read stories late into the night.

The system still pinged occasionally, but the quests grew fewer. He had won. The world was safe.

Years turned to decades. Wrinkles traced gentle lines across their faces. One quiet evening, surrounded by family in a house on a hill, he closed his eyes for the last time.

Peace.

Finally.

But the wheel turned again.

To be continued.
