Hades froze momentarily. Then, in an instant, he began searching the entire apartment, room by room, walking through the walls as though they were made of nothing more than mist. After a frantic search, he found nothing.
He descended to the vault where he kept his tablet—the device he used to monitor Ken's every move. He scrolled through every known location: the restaurant, the school, the apartment, and even the club.
Nothing.
Hades summoned Sylvia, who arrived almost immediately. As soon as she appeared, she recoiled, leaping several feet back from his presence. His aura pulsed with an intensity that made the air in the vault feel suffocating.
Sylvia stood back, perplexed. She realized the aura wasn't intense because he was angry; it was because he was **panicking**. She couldn't comprehend how he was suddenly exhibiting such raw, human emotions.
Hades turned to her, his eyes a piercing crimson red. His voice was deathly cold. "He left... He left me!"
