Chapter 5 - back to class

Shiori stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror the next morning, still replaying the previous evening's events on the crowded metro. The memory of that stranger's persistent hand squeezing her ass made her cheeks flush again. She lightly touched the spot through her skirt, feeling a faint echo of warmth that she quickly tried to ignore.

That was too close. I can't keep hiding in the house forever, but going to school as this… it's going to be a nightmare.

She took a deep breath and began getting ready. The school uniform blouse was a challenge. The fabric stretched tightly across her breasts, the buttons straining to hold in her cleavage despite how she adjusted it. The pleated skirt was short, sitting low on her hips, which were quite wide, and only reached down to mid-thigh. Her thick, smooth legs were longer than ever in the skirt. She put on the blazer, but it didn't help hide her hourglass figure in the slightest. Anytime she moved, her heavy breasts swung back and forth, and her large ass moved significantly.

This uniform looks completely different on me now. Back when I was Tanaka, it was baggy and ugly. Now it's like it was made to show off every curve.

She practiced walking in front of the mirror — smaller steps, straighter posture, trying not to sway her hips too much. Her long black hair fell smoothly down her back, and even with minimal makeup, her face looked stunning. The girl in the mirror was beautiful, confident-looking… and completely terrifying to the person inside.

Her mother called from downstairs. "Shiori, you'll be late if you don't leave soon!"

Shiori sighed. No more hiding. She grabbed her bag and headed out.

The walk to school felt surreal. Boys who used to ignore or mock the old Tanaka now stared openly, some whispering to their friends. A group of third-years slowed down to get a better look. Girls gave her a mix of jealous glances and curious smiles. Even the crossing guard nodded politely. The attention was overwhelming.

They're not laughing at the fat guy anymore. They're looking at me like I'm something desirable. It's… weirdly powerful. But also scary.

When she reached the classroom, the atmosphere shifted the moment she entered.

Conversations quieted. Heads turned. Hina, already at her desk near the window, waved with a bright smile.

"Shiori! You're here. Feeling better today?"

Shiori sat down beside her, the chair creaking slightly under her new weight distribution.

"Yeah… a bit. Thanks for yesterday."

Hina leaned closer, lowering her voice. "You looked really uncomfortable on the train. Are you sure everything's okay?"

Shiori nodded, forcing a smile. "Just crowded. I'm fine now."

During morning classes, she kept catching glares from the usual group. Miura Aika, with her dyed hair and short skirt, shot her dirty looks from across the room. Beside her, Kawano Rina whispered something, both of them eyeing Shiori with clear irritation. The other girls in their clique did the same. It was the same group that used to trip Tanaka, mock his weight, and laugh at him daily.

They used to call me pig and fatty every single day. Now they're glaring at me like I stole something from them. Because I'm prettier than they are now.

Lunch break arrived. Shiori and Hina headed to the rooftop with bentos. They sat on a bench, the breeze gently lifting Shiori's skirt. She kept pressing it down nervously.

Hina opened her lunch and smiled. "It's nice eating together like this. You seem different lately, Shiori. More… quiet, but in a good way."

Shiori felt a pang of guilt. She has no idea I used to be the fat kid she pitied. She's always been kind, and now I'm lying to her face.

Their peaceful moment didn't last long. A group of boys approached, trays in hand. Leading them was Kenta — tall, athletic, and currently dating Miura Aika.

"Hey, Shiori, Hina," Kenta said with an easy grin. "Mind if we join you? The cafeteria's too noisy today."

Before Shiori could answer, two other boys sat down nearby, clearly interested. One of them kept stealing glances at Shiori's chest, another at her legs.

Hina smiled politely. "Sure, why not?"

The conversation started light, but Shiori noticed the shift immediately. The boys were attentive to her — asking her opinions, laughing a little too hard at her short replies, offering her a drink. Kenta especially kept looking at her with open interest, his eyes drifting over her curves when he thought she wasn't watching.

From a distance, Miura and Rina watched the scene with folded arms. Miura's face twisted in irritation as Kenta laughed at something Shiori said. Rina whispered angrily to the others. The bullies didn't approach, but their glares were sharp.

They're avoiding me directly, but they're pissed that their boyfriends are talking to us. Especially Kenta staring at me like that.

Then the mood changed. Miura's group walked past them "accidentally." One of them bumped Hina's shoulder hard enough to make her drop a piece of food.

"Oops, sorry," Miura said with fake sweetness. "Didn't see you there, Hina."

The other girls snickered. "Still hanging around with the quiet types, huh?"

Hina lowered her head, saying nothing. Shiori's hands tightened around her chopsticks.

They're still doing it. Still bullying Hina even now. They never stopped being cruel. They just lost their favorite target when Tanaka disappeared.

Something cold stirred in Shiori's chest for the first time.

They made my life hell every single day. Laughed at me, tripped me, called me names. And they're still hurting the only person who was kind to me.

As Kenta leaned in to ask Shiori if she wanted to join them for after-school practice sometime, Miura shot another venomous look from across.

A quiet thought formed in Shiori's mind, sharp and new.

Maybe… this body isn't just a curse. Maybe I can use it. Make Kenta cheat on Miura. Make all of them regret what they did to Tanaka. Start small. Just seduce them. Nothing more.

She pushed the thought down quickly, but it lingered.

The bell rang for afternoon classes. As everyone stood up, Shiori caught Kenta's eyes lingering on her one last time. Miura noticed too, her expression darkening.

Shiori walked back to class beside Hina, the seed of revenge quietly taking root in her mind.

They deserve it. Just a little revenge. That's all.

But even as she told herself that, a small part of her wondered how far "just a little" would actually go.
