She blinked repeatedly just to make sure her eyes were not deceiving her, yet the blonde teenager still stood confidently on the stage. Tessa could hardly believe what she was seeing.
Unlike the others, who all carried obvious beast traits even in their human forms—ears, tails, sharp claws, scales, or fangs—this one looked completely human.
No animal feature.
Nothing.
Tessa was not convinced. She needed confirmation because there was no way she alone was seeing this.
"Can you see that person up there?" she asked Zane, who stood beside her.
The crocodile man frowned slightly before nodding. Of course he could see him.
Still suspicious, Tessa turned to Valen next.
"You see him too, right?"
Valen nodded immediately, same with Zephyr, and only then did Tessa finally accept that the blonde teenager was real.
