Alpha Arin's pov
I had no idea how i was able to come back to my sense. It had never happened before but thank God that he was calm ,I didn't know what I would have done to her in that state.
The way she look at me ,adjusting frequently was a sign that she was scared of me.
After a drive in silence for about an hour ,we finally reached the mansion ,I could feel the stairs of my pack on I and Nathalie .
They we surprised that arin brought a woman home ,or could she be the chosen one of the moon goddess.
Nathalie carmar POV
The whole pack kept giving me strange look as I walked into the huge manaoin ,unlike ours the mansion was ten times bigger ,with higher structural quality.
As we got inside ,alpha arins bete, bete Roman walked gracefully to my side.
It seem like the alpha had informed him before hand that I was coming because unlike the others ,he didn't seem surprised ,he gracefully walked to my side.
" hello dear what's your name " he said very tenderly .
" Na . . .Nathalie " I managed to mutter in my breath .
"OK Nathalie ,I want you to go fresen up ,take some food and feel at home".
He summoned one of the omegas to show me a room. As usual ,I thought I would get a room a tacky, old , and cramped room but to my uttermost surprise ,I got a well furnished ,high quality bedroom . it was ten times bigger than my room at night brewers pack .
" is this the room" my voice came out small and squeaky.
"Yes its your personal room " the omega said.
She led me into the room where three other omegas were waiting with all sorts of bathing materials ready.
"The alpha specifically told us to clean and refresh you" one of them said .
"Don't worry ,I can do it my self " I felt weird ,I who used to bathe other was the one being asked to be bathed.
They stared at each other and then back at me ." pls ma ,just let us do it ,if you don't the alpha will punish us ".
" As I said ,I can do it myself "
I noticed they were all staring passed me . I turned and my face met alpha arin's chest ,which was wide and hard. "Go in and let them bathe you,"
I wanted to argue but the thought of that beast form appeared in my head.
I reluctantly went into the bathroom where there was a foaming bathtub decorated by flower pebbles.
After I bathed,a meal was brought to me,I hadn't eaten the whole day so I gulped down the whole food in one go.
"Are you okay" asked the omega who brought me the food.
I felt guilty at the royal treatment I was receiving ,I has never been shown such treatment before.
At the 11th hour , while I was fast asleep ,I felt the cracking sound of the window. I was so deep in sleep I didn't realize when the creature walked up to my bedside. I screamed loudly as I was being pulled away .The creature made a jump for the window carrying me along.
Before the creature could reach the gates of the mansion he was struck by a powerful force that sent both of us scattered in the open field. The alpha held the creature by his throat and it returned to his human form . it was a creature like nothing the alpha had seen before .
It didnt look like a vampire ,nor a warewolf . the bete rushed to arin's side " . Arin pls let it go ,I'll take care of it " he said scared that the alpha might loose a grip on himself and on Rylan who was already blood thirsty.
The alpha's eyes immediately turned red and he fell to the ground ,clutching his ears as vein pops out all over his body ,he screamed as weird chants echoed loudly in his ear like it was doing something to his brain.
The sight was scary ,he looked like he was going to burst any minute from now .
"Nathalie pls go inside" bete roman said .
" what is happening to him" I said tears already streaming down my face,that's the usual me ,every little things weirdly make me cry.
I didn't know what got into me ,I walked up slowly to the alpha who was still screaming as the chants continued . " don't go it might be dangerous for you" bete roman said.
I touched him and my hand burned instantly as I screamed in pain.
My hand immediately turned black.
Instantly the alpha's swelling calmed down, replaced by a calm breeze .
I was standing at a corner holding my hand in pain. Alpha arin touch his shoulder ,which was wet from my tears.
"Her tears " he whispered .
He gaze moved to where I was standing .
"It's her tears". .
