When he came back, she lied and said she received a message from him to come out late and night, she waited for him for a long time but he didn't show. Since she came out without anyone that night, a drunken man set his eyes on her, dragged her into an alley way and ra*ed her
Thomas felt sorry for her ever since that night, more than usual. He blamed himself for that night and "coincidentally" found some messages on Caroline's phone which implicated she sent the messages because she found out about them. He didn't confront Caroline because she had begged him to but that caused a rift between the husband and wife before they even married.
Now all this was slowly catching up to her, if she could think of this, Thomas would too and in no time would find out she framed Caroline.
That was a disaster she didn't want to happen. Not now, not ever.
A few moments later, her phone pinged dragging her out of her thoughts. It was Alex.
