Chapter 5 - THE COMMANDMENTS

Chapter 5 > THE COMMANDMENTS

As the First Being and Yhach continued their conversation—

the First Being spoke with calm, absolute authority.

---

"I'm sorry, my child…"

"But do not change the future."

"Do not intervene in what is to come."

---

"Let them choose their own path."

"I have given all of you freedom."

"I will not control you… nor take away that freedom."

---

Yhach, who already perceived what was to come, lowered his head.

---

"I will do as you wish… my Lord God."

---

The First Being looked beyond all existence and replied—

---

"What is done… is done."

"It can be changed…"

"But it should not be."

---

"Let them choose."

---

Then the First Being spoke once more—

---

"Rise, my child."

---

And with that, it entrusted Yhach with words—

words that would be passed to all beings.

---

The Commandments:

1 — Love others more than myself.

2 — Love others as you love me.

3 — Do not do what is evil, nor what defies my law.

4 — Be good to others… for it is better to be kind to them than to please me. Your Father accepts this.

5 — It is not required to worship me, nor to offer sacrifices. Do what brings you true happiness.

6 — Everything is within you. I have given you freedom—use it.

7 — You may choose not to worship me… but be careful, my child, in what you choose to believe.

8 — Do not take life.

---

Yhach bowed deeply.

---

"I will carry out your will… my Lord God."

---

The First Being gently replied—

---

"Do what you desire, my child."

---

Within his thoughts, Yhach made a decision—

---

"I will tell them…"

"Do not call me Lord, nor God, nor Master."

"Call me only by my name."

"I am not worthy of such titles…"

"For only our Father deserves them."

---

With gratitude, Yhach spoke once more—

---

"Thank you… for everything, my Lord God."

---

And the First Being answered—

---

"You are always welcome, my child."

---

Then—

Yhach spoke to all beings through their minds.

---

In that instant, they understood.

---

And when they understood—

they felt confusion…

and sadness.

---

"Why… would the First Being say this…?"

---

From among them, a being of the Phoenix Clan stepped forward.

He gazed toward the endless sky and asked—

---

"Yhach… may we still consume life to survive?"

---

Yhach answered—

---

"No."

"You must not take the lives of animals… nor any living being."

---

"But…"

---

"I can provide for all of you."

"Anything you desire will be given instantly—"

---

"So that no life will be harmed…"

"and none will be lost."
