As Jiang He's voice fell, the energy within the giant violet-red cylinder exploded! A massive golden arc of water and wind erupted, completely engulfing the Paradox Brothers on the far side of the field.
"Aaaaaagh!!"
The spiraling water column, infused with the painful sting of golden electricity, slammed into them. The Paradox Brothers were sent into a state of numbing shock, letting out muffled groans of agony.
Their remaining 4600 LP plummeted instantly to zero.
The monster shadows and face-down cards vanished into thin air, leaving the two brothers slumped against each other on their knees, looking utterly pathetic.
"To defeat the legendary duo who once faced the King of Games, Yugi Muto, in less than two full roundsand without losing a single point of health..." Zane Truesdale looked at Jiang He's silhouette with a mix of surprise and genuine interest.
"He really is something else. Another tactical masterclass," Bastion Misawa said with a slight smile.
"That was amazing, Jiang He!" Jaden Yuki cheered loudly from the stands.
The rest of the students nodded in subconscious agreement. Though they were loath to admit it, it seemed the Obelisk Blue elite, Alexis, had played a far smaller role in this victory than the Slifer Red 'fluke' who had beaten Professor Crowler.
"Mamma mia... as a professor of this academy, I finally don't have to be expelled along with them..." Crowler slumped to the floor, breathing a massive sigh of relief.
"In this duel against the legendary tag-team specialists, the winners are Jiang He and Alexis Rhodes!" Chancellor Sheppard announced, stepping forward with a wide smile. "Perfectly utilizing the opponent's strength to crush themtruly a remarkable strategy. Now, prepare for the next tag-match"
"Wait a moment, Chancellor Sheppard," Jiang He interrupted, holding up a hand. "I have one very important thing to say to my seniors."
Jiang He's face was grave and serious. "After all, the sense of ritual in respecting one's opponent is vital."
"Ah, of course, no problem," the Chancellor said, taken aback before nodding with a look of gratified pride. He began to ramble, "Respecting your opponent has always been the cornerstone of our academy's spirit. It seems Jiang He has inherited our finestpfft!"
"Gotcha! That was a fun duel!"
Jiang He had suddenly struck a dramatic pose, mirroring the classic, hot-blooded style Jaden Yuki used after every win.
Chancellor Sheppard, who had been mid-sip of his tea while nodding in approval, sprayed the liquid across the room. He stared at the scene, frozen in shock.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Around the stadium, several people who had been leaning in with curiosity literally fell over from the sheer audacity of the move. Black lines of exasperation practically manifested on the observers' foreheads.

The Paradox Brothers were purple with rage, looking as though they had just swallowed a swarm of flies. Listening to the Chancellor's words from a moment ago, they really wanted to ask: Is 'riding the opponent's face and mocking them' really your academy's style?!

Having completed his post-duel ritual and provided the Paradox Brothers with more "joy," Jiang He stepped off the stage, basking in the system's notifications. He was a man of his wordalways helpful, never leaving a name!

As Jiang He walked down and greeted Jaden and the others to find a seat, Chancellor Sheppard wiped the cold sweat from his brow. He shot a frantic hand signal to the Paradox Brothers, gesturing that he would increase their appearance fee.
The brothers, suddenly re-energized by the promise of more money, decided they could handle a little more mockery. They were pacified and ready for the next round.
The second duel, featuring Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale, began.
However, from the moment the duel started, the Paradox Brothers' signature "Dragon King" smirks never returned. Even when they held a significant advantage on the field, not a single smile graced their lips.
"They've stopped smiling entirely. No matter how you look at it, it's your fault," Alexis joked. She had slipped away from her two fan-girls and taken the seat next to Jiang He. She watched as Jaden and Syrus were being suppressed by the brothers' old Kazejin strategy.
She sat down beside him, a playful glint in her eyes.
