Manson stood by the window, his gaze fixed on the city beyond the glass as he absentmindedly scratched the corner of his nose.
"Hello, Mr. Brandon, you have successfully managed to get me on the phone."
"Hahaha," Brandon laughed softly. "Aren't I lucky you decided to answer?"
A faint smile curls on Manson's lips.
"You flatter me; I'm the one who should be flattered."
His expression turned serious.
"So, what do I owe this call?"
"I'd like to discuss one of your actresses."
Manson lifted his brows.
"Who?"
Brandon didn't hesitate.
"Fiona."
The smile vanished from Manson's face.
"Fiona?"
"I know she's still a rookie," Brandon's smooth voice continued, "but there's a second-female lead role in my upcoming project, and for some reason she's been stuck in my head ever since I watched her."
A strained laugh slipped from Manson.
"You really can't be serious; she's still new, and she's never handled anything on that level before."
He rubbed his forehead.
