Chapter 290 - Unnamed

Chapter 290 Go home, no one can stop me from lying down

In the Gaius Family's Chamber of Secrets, the World Tree exuded a mysterious aura, and the countless stars connected to it continuously flickered, making the entire Chamber of Secrets sparkle with starlight, as if welcoming the return of a monarch.

The space trembled, and a colorful portal suddenly opened. Abey, who was dozing off while guarding it, instantly widened his eyes, his sleepiness completely gone.

As Aaron stepped out of the portal, a large white ball of flesh pounced into his arms, almost knocking him back.

"Master, you've finally returned," Abey said, his dragon eyes welling up with tears, as he rubbed against Aaron's face.

"There, there," Aaron patted its head with a relieved smile, then picked it up. "You've gotten a bit thinner. It seems you haven't been eating well while I was away!"

"Young Master," Gines said as he entered the Chamber of Secrets. "Welcome home."

Aaron nodded slightly. "You arrived quite promptly!"

Gines showed a faint smile and didn't offer any explanation, merely pulling back his sleeve.

Seeing the family crest on his arm slowly fading, Aaronrealized that everyone in the Gaius Family probably knew he was back.

"Young Master, the bathroom has been prepared for you, and the kitchen is working overtime to prepare your lunch..."

"I don't need any of that. I ate and drank my fill before coming home," Aaron interrupted impatiently. "Where are my parents? Why aren't they here?"

Gines hesitated, wanting to say something but swallowing his words.

"They're not home again, are they!

Forget it, I shouldn't have asked you that question.

Uncle Gines, how long have I been gone?"

"Less than half a month."

Aaron nodded slightly. This wasn't a long time, but it wasn't short either.

Carrying Abey, he went to the living room and flopped onto the sofa in a 'Ge You lie,' feeling completely relaxed.

"Young Master, how was your trip?"

"It was incredibly exciting," Aaron pouted. "I stayed in that world for half a year. I don't want to go into details, and you shouldn't ask too many questions."

Gines wisely suppressed his curiosity. He knew his Young Master must have had a wondrous journey, one that was enough to transform his mind.

Now that the Young Master was home, what he needed most was not a welcome feast, nor praise and flowers, but time to adjust his mindset, or, to put it more broadly, his worldview.

"Has anything happened while I was away?"

"Hogwarts sent a letter. Third Class students can visit Hogsmeade on certain weekends. The Head of the Family and Madam signed the permission form before they left.

Mr. Arthur Weasley won the grand prize in The Daily Prophet. He used seven Galleons to organize a trip to Egyptfor his entire family."

"That's a pretty big windfall," Aaron said with interest. "But given the Weasley family's frugal lifestyle, that money should definitely be enough, with some to spare."

"Also, one of the textbooks you'll need for next term, Young Master, is 'The Monster Book of Monsters.' This book is a bit special; you need to stroke it to open it, otherwise it bites."

"Got it. Besides these, is there anything else?"

"Yes," Gines said with a smile. "Today is July thirty-first, Harry Potter's birthday. Young Master, what gift would you like to send?"

"This needs to be carefully arranged," Aaron tapped the armrest. "Giving money is too vulgar, and it wouldn't even reach his hands. Giving a magic book, his aunt and uncle would probably just burn it as firewood.

He likes Quidditch, so how about a broomstick maintenance kit?"

"I'll arrange it right away."

"Wait a moment," Aaron stopped him. "His aunt and uncle won't let him touch his magic broom. Instead, let's prepare a set of test papers for his cousin!"

"What?"

"Didn't you hear clearly?"

"No, I heard clearly, but is that really appropriate?" Ginesasked, puzzled. "It's Harry Potter's birthday, yet we're sending a gift to his cousin?"

"I didn't say we'd send it directly," Aaron explained calmly. "Deliver this gift openly to the Dursley family's doorstep, along with the teacher's handwritten signature.

Knowledge changes destiny. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley certainly don't want Harry to have a chance to change his destiny, so they'll keep the test papers for their own son, who is Harry's cousin.

A smile never disappears; it merely transfers from Dudley Dursley's face to Harry Potter's."

Gines' mouth twitched. In half a month, the Young Master's cunning had clearly increased.

"Understood."

"Oh, and Young Master, regarding your remaining holiday lessons..."

"Shut up," Aaron interrupted directly. "Don't talk to me about lessons. You have no idea what I've been through these past six months.

I'm too tired. I barely made it back alive. I just want to rest properly and lie down peacefully."

"Uh... Young Master, please let me finish," Gines chuckled awkwardly. "The Head of the Family's instruction is that you can freely use the rest of your holiday time. Whether or not you attend classes depends on your mood."

Aaron froze for a moment, suspecting his ears were playing tricks on him.

But when he came to his senses, he excitedly sprang from the sofa, even feeling an urge to cry.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course it's true," Gines nodded. "This was specifically ordered by the Head of the Family and Madam. It's harmless for a tired child to relax a bit!"

Aaron deeply agreed. Although he could only relax for a month, it was enough to soothe his fragile mind.

However, lying flat doesn't mean giving up. He could skip classes this holiday, but he still needed to make time to see those ancestors... The next day.

After breakfast, Aaron prepared to go to the Chamber of Secrets to visit his teachers and see their expressions upon seeing him.

At this moment, a special news report suddenly came from the television:

"Public warning: Black is armed and extremely dangerous.

A dedicated hotline has been opened. Anyone who sees Black should report it immediately..."

"Black," Aaron looked at the gaunt, emaciated, curly-haired middle-aged man's portrait on the TV, and asked somewhat unexpectedly, "Gines, is this the Black I'm thinking of?"

"Yes, Sirius Black, Orion Black's son.

As a Pure-blood noble, he possesses powerful magic talent. If he had applied himself, he might have even broken through to Grand Magister at his age.

But unfortunately, he wasted his talent during the prime of his life and was then imprisoned in Azkaban for twelve years, his strength regressing instead of advancing."

"A Pure-blood Wizard!" Aaron sighed inexplicably. "What crime did he commit?"

"Killed thirteen Muggle."

"What? Is he crazy?"

"Perhaps!" Gines shrugged. "When the Ministry of Magiccaught him, he was laughing loudly on the spot, not even putting up any resistance, and meekly went with them.

However, it's quite desperate for Fudge to think of using Muggle methods to pursue him. Muggle can't do anything to a Wizard, especially a powerful Wizard like Sirius."

"Let the Ministry of Magic worry about it; that has nothing to do with me," Aaron said indifferently, then picked up Abey and walked towards the family Chamber of Secrets.

Opening the door to Chamber of Secrets number one, Aaron saw the familiar forge.

He skillfully placed his palm on the Black stone pillar, and Algol's memories were summoned.

"Welcome home. How long have you been in the other world?"

"About half a year."

"Not too long, not too short," Algol evaluated fairly. "I can see you've grown a lot, both in appearance and in mind."

"Thanks for the compliment," Aaron chuckled sheepishly. "Ancestor, I specifically came to see you today because I want to ask you to forge a weapon for me."

"That's interesting. Don't you like the weapons I forged during my lifetime?"

"No, I want my own weapon," Aaron said, taking out the Heart of the Lonely Mountain. "The Heart of the Mountain, this was given to me by a friend from another world.

It's priceless, but if it's just for display, it would be a bit of a waste, so I want to forge it into a weapon."

"A good idea," Algol stared intently at the Heart of the Lonely Mountain, which glowed with a milky white light. "Excellent material, it would rank among the top twenty even in my collection."

"It only ranks among the top twenty?"

"What do you think countless generations of the Gaius Family's accumulation is?" Algol retorted. "This stone is very ornamental, but besides its ornamental value, its only other advantage is its hardness."

Aaron pouted in disappointment, but he had no words to retort.

"However, that's just on the surface. This stone has some other uses.

For instance, strengthening mental power. If used properly, it can, to a certain extent, resist mental or soul attacks."

Aaron immediately became interested. "It seems it's not just for show after all!"

"You have two choices. The first is to forge some magnificent jewelry for your future wife..."

"Definitely the second," Aaron's mouth twitched, not understanding why so many people liked to care about his life's major events.

"The second is to forge a weapon, as you wish.

However, there are three different options. First, forge a dagger; this stone is barely enough.

Second, forge a sword. I can personally add some materials for you and ask others to enchant it, ensuring it's no weaker than the one you used last year."

"What's the third?" Aaron asked eagerly.

"The third is to forge a divine artifact. But don't get too excited; this stone alone is far from enough."

Aaron clicked his tongue in secret, remaining silent for a while before saying, "Let's choose the third one!"

"Are you sure? Forging a divine artifact requires a lot of resources and a lot of time.

Personally, I'd prefer you choose the second option, as it would be a great help to you at this stage."

"Current development is also for the future!" Aaron sighed. "What resources are needed?"

"Rare ores, various magic materials, the more the better."

Aaron immediately put on a fawning smile. "Ancestor, your reserves?"

"Impossible," Algol refused very sternly. "If you choose the second, I can make some sacrifices, but the third is too much.

If I use up a tenth of my reserves for you, what will happen to the future generations of the Gaius Family?"

Aaron:...You won't even part with a tenth?
