Chapter 338 - Unnamed

Chapter 338 The Grandest Event in the Magic World

"Uncle Gines, could you please book some Quidditch World Cup tickets for me?" Adrian suddenly said. "I plan to take them both to watch the match."

"Of course, no problem." Gines smiled. "I'll also prepare all the other necessities in advance."

"Thank you."

Aaron was stunned; he had just been planning to relax at home.

"Sister." Leon looked at her with some confusion. "When did you become interested in this kind of match?"

"It's not that I'm interested in this kind of match, but rather that I need to understand it." Adrian said meaningfully. "You don't need to understand yet; just tell me, are you going or not?"

"Going." Leon immediately declared. He couldn't refuse his elder sister's invitation, and he also planned to see the Magical World's grandest event of the year.

The siblings exchanged glances, then simultaneously turned their attention to Aaron.

"I'll go, I'll go, alright!"

Smiles appeared on their faces. "Good, you're sensible."

"There's one more thing." Gines suddenly remembered something. "Perhaps we don't need to worry in Gaius Castle, but since we're traveling far, shouldn't the Darwin Familyand Klein Family's guard teams be notified?"

"That won't be necessary." Adrian said. "Unless it's a restricted area, I have the right to travel independently."

"I don't need them either." Leon said sheepishly. "My younger sister still needs protection, so let's leave the guard team for her!"

"Young Master Leon, that's not according to regulations."

"I'll just stick with you, ensuring I stay within your line of sight, alright!" Leon said, annoyed. "Please don't notify them; they stick to you like plasters.

Those who know will think we're going to watch a match; those who don't will think we're going to start a brawl!"

"Oh, this..."

"Uncle Gines, please also tell my people not to follow us." Aaron immediately said. "It's just watching a match, what danger could there be?"

Gines' mouth twitched slightly, but he still reluctantly agreed to the request.

After all, the Young Master had already proven his strength; he would be considered an elite Auror even in the Ministry of Magic.

"Tsk!" Adrian looked at Aaron, somewhat puzzled. "I can understand why Leon's guards haven't been dismissed, as his work does involve some danger.

But your strength isn't weak, and you're usually just an ordinary student, so your guard team is still protecting you?"

Aaron gritted his teeth. "In this world, one is not their own master.

Someone's promises from back then were always just for fooling children, but I foolishly chose to believe them."

"Young Master, don't wrongly accuse anyone." Ginesexplained. "Isn't it because Young Master you like to run away from home? Each time was a failure of the guard's work; one overtime year, two overtime years, three..."

"There won't be a third time, I promise."

"You ran away twice?" Leon looked at Aaron, astonished. "How did you manage that?"

"Luck, purely luck."

"Uh... it's fine if you're perfunctory with me, but our sister is still here. Are you sure you want to be so perfunctory with her?"

"Alright, besides luck, there's also strength." Aaron put on a profound look. "Of course, the most indispensable thing is a good brain."

"I'll give you one more chance to rephrase that." Adriansneered.

Aaron shivered, then said with an awkward laugh, "Luck, strength, and a good brain are indeed very important, but the most important things are the funds for escaping and a highly mobile mount."

Adrian realized, and looked at Abey in her arms. "It seems this little fellow is quite something."

"Should I also get a magical creature?" Leon said thoughtfully.

"Haven't you already got a flock of Thestrals? Isn't that enough?" Aaron said, speechless.

"I mean something like Abey... a battle pet."

"I suggest you choose a Zouwu." Adrian smiled. "It would certainly meet your requirements."

Leon frowned slightly, then turned to look at Abey. "That works too, but it will probably take a lot of time, and I'll have to learn the language of a divine beast."

...The next day.

After an early breakfast, the three of them—Aaron, Adrian, and Leon—changed into clean, simple, ordinary clothes.

"Everyone check the things you need to bring; don't leave anything at home." Adrian reminded them.

"I don't need to." Leon shrugged. His backpack only contained a few books; he was too lazy to check it himself.

Aaron, however, glumly weighed his backpack, which had been enchanted with an Undetectable Extension Charm. It contained food, water, currency, magic books, and everything else imaginable.

Previously, Abey had carried all these things, but now Abeywas in his elder sister's arms, and he felt too embarrassed to stuff things into its pockets.

"Young Master, are you ready?" Gines walked over and asked.

"No." Aaron rolled his eyes. "Do we really have to go by Portkey? Can't we Apparate?"

"It's not impossible, but the venue is estimated to have over a hundred thousand Wizards. Besides that, it's uncertain whether Muggles will appear, so the Apparition location needs to be arranged in advance.

Additionally, Apparition carries some risks, and we're not in a hurry, so there's no need to travel that way."

"Alright!" Aaron nodded helplessly. "Where's the Portkey?"

"Here." Gines took out a red quaffle. "It's a special edition Quidditch World Cup Portkey. We have ten more minutes until the designated time."

"Ten minutes..." Aaron's brow furrowed slightly, then he looked at Adrian. "Sister, there's still time. Please wear a mask."

"Why?" Adrian said, somewhat displeased. "I'm not so ugly that I can't be seen, am I?"

"No, no, no, Sister, you misunderstood.

On the contrary, Aaron thinks you're too beautiful." Leon chimed in. "If you go to the stadium, all the Wizards will only be looking at you; who would still care about the match!"

"Is it really that exaggerated?" Adrian tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, a faint blush spreading across her beautiful face, making her even more charming.

"It is that exaggerated." Aaron said seriously.

Leon nodded in deep agreement. Their elder sister had developed a little too well. The Quidditch World Cup would have at least a hundred thousand Wizards, a mixed bag of people. What if some clueless person came up to flirt with her?

Given his elder sister's personality, if she was in a good mood, crippling them would be about right, but if she was in a bad mood, even leaving a complete corpse would be a luxury.

And then it would be up to them to clean up the mess, wouldn't it? They would also very smoothly pass the buck to someone else, for example, a certain butler.

Gines also connected these dots from Aaron and Leon's attitudes, and his face couldn't help but twitch.

Having one Young Master was tiring enough; with two more, he couldn't possibly not worry himself sick.

"Alright, I'll give you two some face this time." Adriansmiled. "Uncle Gines, could you prepare a mask for me? Just one that covers the upper half of my face will do."

"No problem." Gines immediately took out his wand, cast a spell, and a row of masks flew down from upstairs, neatly arranged on the table.

Adrian casually picked one up, lightly touched it with her index finger to erase all the colorful patterns on it, and then put it on her face, largely sealing her exquisite beauty.

Phew! × 3.

Including Gines, all three of them let out a collective sigh of relief.

Soon, the time arrived. The four of them placed their hands on the quaffle, followed by a dizzying sensation and a hazy blur before their eyes, making everything unclear.

When they opened their eyes, they saw a misty swamp.

"Five thirty, from Gaius Castle."

A steady voice sounded. Turning their heads, they saw a middle-aged man in a suit.

"Mr. Gines, the Minister asked me to wait for you here." The middle-aged man smiled as he took the quaffle from Gines' hand. "To show respect to you, he had me set up a separate reception point.

Do you need directions?"

"No, thank you. Just tell us the direction of the camp."

"Alright." The middle-aged man said with some regret, then pointed to a plank road in the mist. "Walk along this road for about two hundred meters, and you'll see the campsite.

The administrator is a Muggle, Roberts. Your tent was booked yesterday.

Also, Roberts doesn't know that the Quidditch World Cup is being held here, so if possible, please don't use magic in front of him."

"No problem."

After understanding the situation, Gines led Aaron and the other two down the small path.

In less than ten minutes, the four of them saw a stone house. Behind the house was a large field, with hundreds of tents stretching all the way to the edge of the distant forest.

"Hello, are you Mr. Roberts?"

"Yes, who are you?" The Muggle administrator, Roberts, asked.

"Gines. We booked a tent yesterday."

"One tent?" Aaron's mouth dropped open in surprise. "There are four of us here, and one is a girl. Is one tent really suitable?"

"Suitable." Gines said indifferently. "This way, it's convenient for all of you to be within my line of sight."

Aaron was speechless. Since Adrian and Leon's guards weren't present, if anything unexpected happened, Ginescouldn't bear the responsibility.

"Um... Mr. Gines, your tent is in the center of the field, with your name on it.

If there are no issues, could you please pay first?"

Gines took a wallet from his pocket and pulled out fifty pounds. "This should be enough."

"Enough, enough." Roberts took the money, saying with a slightly relieved expression, "I thought everyone coming here would be foreigners. Many people before you couldn't even tell money apart. They all wore very strange clothes and preferred to pay with gold coins."

"Don't mind them; some people just have peculiar habits."

"But there are too many of them, never so many people before." Roberts said. "Having a local who can communicate normally in this situation would make things much easier for me."

"We don't care about that. Can we go now?"

"Of course." Roberts handed the campsite map to Gines, then made a gesture for them to enter. "Please come in."
