Chapter 351 - Unnamed

Chapter 351: Unforgivable Curses, Lupin and Snape will be very relieved

"So, which spell should we look at first?" Moody's lips curved into a smile, and both his large and small eyes looked at Ron. "Weasley, you name one."

Ron stood up flustered, saying stiffly, "My father did mention one, the Imperio."

"Yes, your father would know, of course. That spell caused the Ministry a lot of trouble a few years ago," Moody said approvingly, then walked over to a glass jar and pulled out a spider.

"Hello, my pretty little thing."

Moody spread his palm, first using an Engorgement Charm to enlarge the spider so every student could see clearly, then cast the Imperio on it.

"Imperio!"

Under Moody's control, the spider jumped onto students' arms, shoulders, heads, and faces, but it didn't harm anyone, merely acting mischievous and making many people laugh.

"Isn't it capable?" Moody laughed loudly, but the next moment his face darkened. "What should it do next? Jump out the window? Or drown?"

As his words fell, the spider jumped onto the window, then onto the top of a bucket, but it seemed unaware of how close death was.

Seeing this, the laughter in the classroom vanished almost instantly.

This spell could control people at will. If someone were to cast it on them, they wouldn't even know how they died.

"Many wizards and witches claimed they obeyed You-Know-Who because they were under the Imperio, but the problem is, how do You-Know-Who's lying?"

"Professor," Aaron asked, raising his arm, "Is there a way to resist the Imperio?"

"Yes, of course there is." Moody put the spider back, then walked over to Aaron with a smile. "As long as your personality is strong enough, you can resist it. Would you like to try?"

Aaron frowned slightly, feeling as if Moody was deliberately targeting him.

He was somewhat confident in resisting the Imperio, because he had a group of undying ancestors, and his mind, will, and even soul had received several buffs.

"Imperio!"

Moody suddenly waved his wand, and Aaron instinctively made a dodging motion.

But before he could turn aside, a white shadow quickly blocked him.

"Abey."

Aaron looked at Abey, who had landed on the desk, and an angry flame involuntarily ignited in his eyes.

The magic resistance of a Holy Dragon was much stronger than that of an ordinary dragon. The Imperio had almost no effect on it, only making it dazed for a while.

But whether it had an effect was one thing; whether to take action was another.

Abey had been with him since hatching from the egg, and he never expected it to be bullied in front of him today. It was truly unbearable.

"Professor Moody," Aaron said through gritted teeth, "You've really gone too far…"

"Aaron, don't be impulsive, absolutely don't be impulsive!" Hermione hastily reminded him. She also knew Abey's importance to Aaron and was afraid he would lash out at the Professor in anger.

Alastor Moody was a former Auror, and among the Professors, he was a powerhouse. Even Snape would avoid him.

If they fought, the chances of losing were high, and the consequences would not be easy to bear.

Draco clutched Aaron's arm tightly, and Harry and Ron kept shaking their heads at him.

Aaron took a deep breath, suppressing the anger in his heart, then looked at Moody with a smile, "Professor, you just wanted to test the Imperio on me, right?"

"Yes, the best way to resist the Imperio is to experience it yourself," Moody said without evasion. "Not just you, every one of you will experience it."

"Then now… please continue."

Moody's magical eye spun a few times, and the wildness on his face subsided somewhat. "Imperio."

In an instant, Aaron felt his weight lighten considerably, a feeling of being ethereal.

But the next moment, the Mind-Hiding Art took effect, and the Imperio was perfectly resisted.

Moody's eyes widened in astonishment, and before he could react, he saw a hint of purple flash in Aaron's pupils, and his hand involuntarily loosened its grip.

"Mother…"

Moody murmured, his expression confused. He was about to say something when the sound of his wand dropping pulled him back to reality.

"You… how did you do that? You're only fourteen, your magic can't be stronger than mine. Do you have experience resisting the Imperio?"

"Perhaps my personality is strong enough!" Aaron sneered slightly, then picked up the wand from the ground. "Professor, your wand."

Moody's mouth twitched. "Professor Lupin would be very pleased to have a student like you."

"He'd better pray he doesn't see me, or I'll definitely slap him," Aaron said pointedly.

Moody: … "Not everyone can resist the Dementor's Kiss. The best way is not to be hit by such a spell, and to always remain vigilant.

Now, who can tell me the second Unforgivable Curse?"

This time, many people raised their hands, but the most surprising was Neville. He had never been so proactive, even though his right hand was trembling slightly.

"You're Longbottom, aren't you! Stand up.

Professor Sprout tells me you have a great talent for Herbology."

Neville nodded and said, "There's also a spell called the Crucio."

"Correct, come here." Moody placed the spider on the podium, letting Neville observe it up close. "A very dangerous, torturous spell."

He pointed his wand at the enlarged spider. "Crucio, Cruciatus Curse."

The spider twitched continuously, emitting painful shrieks, a hundred times more grating than cat claws on glass.

Everyone's expressions became particularly unnatural, unable to watch. Neville, who was closest, had a twisted expression, a pale face, and eyes full of fear.

"Muffliato."

Aaron uttered the spell, and a buzzing sound appeared in everyone's ears, replacing the spider's screams.

Moody stopped using the Crucio on the spider, dismissed Neville back to his seat, then gave Aaron a deep look. "Snapewould be very pleased."

"Perhaps!"

"Well then… Mr. Gaius, you tell us the last Unforgivable Curse."

"The Killing Curse, also known as Avada Kedavra," Aaronsaid calmly. The moment his words fell, those around him seemed somewhat apprehensive.

"Very correct." Moody took the spider and walked over to Aaron, placing it on the desk. "I wouldn't dare use a person for this spell."

"Avada Kedavra."

A flash of green light, and the spider had no wounds on its body, but it had stopped breathing.

Aaron frowned slightly, then turned his face away.

This wasn't fear, after all, the Killing Curse wasn't cast on him.

But a large spider dying on his desk, it just felt unlucky no matter how he thought about it.

"The Killing Curse, there's no counter-spell, no way to resist it.

As far as people know, only one person has escaped this spell, and he's right here." Moody looked meaningfully at Harry, and everyone else in the classroom also watched him.

Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort, which was common knowledge in the Magical World, but having the Professorre-emphasize it made it feel different immediately.

Harry recalled the green light he saw when he was attacked by Dementors, gaining a clearer understanding of his parents' deaths.

"The Avada Kedavra requires a very powerful magical force as its foundation. All of you can take out your wands, point them at me, and utter this spell."

"Professor, are you trying to get us locked up in Azkaban?" Aaron asked with a light laugh. Although he had split off a thought form, his magical power far exceeded that of his peers. What if he accidentally sent Moody away?

"Uh… you're excused," Moody said helplessly. "The others would at most give me a nosebleed; you might cripple me."

Hearing this, Aaron's mouth twitched uncontrollably.

You're already half crippled, and you have the nerve to say that?

For the rest of the time, Moody gave the students a detailed introduction to the three Unforgivable Curses and had everyone take notes.

Although the class was somewhat nerve-wracking, it was full of practical information, and many felt they had gained a lot.

After the bell rang, the students left one after another, discussing animatedly, their reverence for Alastor Moodyskyrocketing.

After lunch, Aaron took Abey to the Library.

In a secluded corner, he placed Abey on the table and gave it a very thorough examination. Only after confirming that there were no lingering side effects from the Imperio did he reluctantly breathe a sigh of relief.

"Stand still, relax," Aaron said sternly, looking at Abey's big, watery eyes. "Don't do that again next time, understand?

Your master isn't so fragile that he needs you to block spells for him."

A hint of confusion flashed in Abey's pure, clear eyes. "Does master mean I should just watch?"

Aaron chuckled, rubbed its dragon head, and said, "Loyalty is good, keep it up.

Just watching is definitely not allowed. Without my command, if there's a sneak attack or if I'm unable to resist, you can decide what to do."

"Understood."

Aaron nodded in satisfaction, took Wehert's magic notebook from his pocket, and prepared to improve his proficiency in Ultimate Elemental magic, as well as study other applications of elemental magic.

However, he had only drawn a few pages when a shadow appeared on his desk.

He looked up to see Hermione pouting, looking both angry, helpless, and nervous.

"What's wrong with you… did someone offend you?"

Hermione sat directly opposite Aaron, placing a box on the table. When opened, it revealed various colored badges with the letters SPEW printed on them.

"Pick one!"

"You have to tell me what this is first?"

"Can't you tell?" Hermione said with some regret. "This is the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, which I just founded."

Aaron seemed to understand something and tentatively asked, "An illegal gathering?"

"No, it's just a regular club," Hermione explained, blushing. "You probably have House-elves at home, right?"

"I have a few, why do you ask?"

"Do they get paid? Do they have sick leave and allowances?"
