Chapter 409: Holy Dragon Guardian, the End of the Road

Boom!

The massive magic circle instantly cracked, shattering into pieces in the blink of an eye.

The ultimate defensive magic corresponded to what a Grand Archmage could cast; as long as the magic supply wasn't an issue, it could barely defend against the siege of dozens of Death Eaters.

But Lord Voldemort was at the peak of Grand Archmage, and once he went all out, it was like adding a weight to the scales of victory.

"Holy crab!"

Aaron cursed loudly, immediately creating a high-level defensive magic circle in front of him.

The next moment, a terrifying shockwave exploded in front of Aaron, sending him and the nearby Death Eaters flying.

After the smoke cleared, some Death Eaters closer to the explosion staggered to their feet, while those further away weren't as disheveled, though still covered in dust.

Everyone marveled at Lord Voldemort's magic, and at the same time, their gazes involuntarily shifted to Aaron.

He was kneeling on the ground, his hands trembling slightly, and a gruesome wound on his left arm was constantly seeping blood.

"I never thought that the esteemed Lord Voldemort would resort to sneak attacks.

And the target of the sneak attack is a fifteen-year-old child; truly, he has no class at all."

"I am merely making you understand the disparity in strength," Lord Voldemort said unhurriedly, "It's already dark, and I've grown a bit impatient after being delayed by you for so long."

"Heh heh!" Aaron sneered, took a small bottle from his pocket, and sprinkled the transparent liquid onto his wound, which instantly healed.

"Phoenix tears," Lord Voldemort gritted his teeth.

"Good eye. I collected this when Ab and I were bullying Fawkes. I didn't expect to use it so soon."

"What are you still standing around for?" Lord Voldemortsaid displeased.

"Wait a moment!"

The Death Eaters were about to attack again but were stopped by Aaron.

He slowly rose, opened the chamber of the Higanbana, and loaded seven silver-white bullets and one crimson-gold bullet with red markings.

"Now you can."

The Death Eaters exchanged glances, quickly realizing they had been tricked, and anger immediately surged into their hearts.

Watching Aaron heal was one thing; after all, he was conversing with Lord Voldemort while healing, and they wouldn't dare interrupt Lord Voldemort even if they had more guts.

But after that, their mentality somewhat collapsed. Aaron loaded eight bullets into the Higanbana right in front of them.

They had witnessed the power of that gun; one shot, one Archmage. If the eight bullets were used skillfully, it meant eight Death Eaters were in mortal danger.

"A bunch of cowards," Barty Crouch Jr. said disdainfully, "Have you even considered how much magic he has left? He absolutely cannot replicate his previous power."

Hearing this, the Death Eaters immediately felt much more at ease, and their gazes towards Aaron were filled with amusement.

Lucius was the same, except he was further away from Aaron, ranking third from last among the Death Eaters.

Whoosh!

Aaron took a deep breath, strode forward, and directly met the charging Death Eaters.

This time, he did not use defensive magic; besides his own consumption not keeping up, Lord Voldemort would not give him a chance to take shortcuts.

A red spell shot out from one side, whistling towards him.

This was a Blasting Curse, capable of exploding anything it touched, extremely dangerous.

Aaron immediately blocked with his wand, and at that moment, several more spells shot out simultaneously, all swift as lightning.

"Dragon's Roar."

Crimson flames spewed from his mouth, engulfing these spells, and forcing the Death Eaters who cast them to retreat, but more Death Eaters surrounded him.

Aaron shook his head, tucked his wand into his waist, and put away the Higanbana.

"With so many people, I'm really not their match, but if you want to catch me, you'll have to be prepared.

If I go all out, I'm still confident I can take down more than half of you. Do you want to try?"

The Death Eaters didn't believe this and immediately launched an attack, with highly destructive spells falling from all directions.

He ran quickly, dodging these spells while approaching the nearest Death Eater.

"Macnair? What a coincidence!" Aaron sneered, "Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Aaron's right fist, enveloped in flames, struck Macnair squarely in the abdomen. He flew backward at an extremely high speed, stopping only when he crashed into a tombstone dozens of meters away, losing his combat ability.

"The first one."

Rumble!

The ground beneath Aaron constantly shook, and a pit suddenly appeared under his feet.

"It worked."

A Death Eater shouted excitedly, his wand plunged into the ground, clearly the trap was his doing.

But his joy lasted less than three seconds, as a massive earthy-yellow magic circle enveloped him, and countless thorny chains bound his body and limbs.

"The second one."

Bang!

A spell struck from behind, and Aaron directly shattered it with his flame-enveloped fist.

"Impossible, this is absolutely impossible."

"All together, he's only one person, and his consumption is immense. He can't block all of our attacks."

A Death Eater shouted, encouraging others and himself.

A volley of spells shot out simultaneously from the front. Aaron quickly raised his hands, "Dragon's Blazing Flame."

The flames collided with the seven spells, subtly overpowering those Death Eaters.

At this moment, two spells suddenly appeared on his left and right sides. Aaron had no choice but to retract his flames, leaping high to avoid these two attacks.

A green magic circle instantly appeared, and a massive storm descended from the sky.

The terrifying impact blew the surrounding Death Eaters back more than ten meters, clearing an open space.

Aaron had just landed, and before he could catch his breath, more than ten spells struck simultaneously, blocking all his escape routes from various directions.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Death Eaters let out triumphant cackles. Cedric and the others couldn't bear to look away, clearly not believing Aaron could block so many spells.

At this moment, a brilliant silver light suddenly appeared where Aaron stood, followed by the roar of a Dragon.

Roar!

The Patronus in its Holy Dragon form appeared for the first time in this world. It protected Aaron in the center, blocking those spells.

Everyone felt their worldview crumbling. They had seen Patronuses before, but such an exaggerated Patronus was a first. There was no such exaggerated one in the entire magical world, not even Dumbledore had one.

"This is fake, it must be fake," Barty Crouch Jr. muttered, "Master, there were Dementors during the Triwizard Tournament, and Gaius's Patronus is a raven."

"Who stipulated that there could only be one Patronus? And who stipulated that a Patronus could only serve a protective purpose?" Aaron said meaningfully, immediately ordering his Patronus to attack.

After all, the Holy Dragon Patronus consumed a lot of magic, and every second it stayed was a shameful waste.

The Holy Dragon roared to the sky, flapping its pure white, crystalline wings, grabbing the nearest Death Eater in its hand and crushing him in the blink of an eye.

White Dragon flames spewed from its mouth. The Death Eaters, feeling the terrifying temperature, immediately raised their wands to defend, some even using Apparition to create distance.

Various spells shot at the Holy Dragon from all directions. Its white energy body was hit with small gaps, but Aaron's magic would timely overflow from his body to repair it.

The Holy Dragon hovered above Aaron, attacking the Death Eaters with Dragon flames while also providing Aaron with some protection. The spells aimed at him were burned to ashes by the white light before they could get close.

Almost every minute, a Death Eater was severely injured or even died, and Lord Voldemort was completely indifferent to it.

He had lingered for thirteen years, and not one of these people had sought him out. Did they really think he had no temper?

Thirteen years had made him see some things clearly; wavering loyalty was dispensable to him. If they died, they died.

Only Barty Crouch Jr. and those Death Eaters imprisoned in Azkaban were his truly loyal servants.

Lucius had indeed shown that he had sought him out, so he could be given a certain amount of trust, but not too much. The specifics would depend on his future performance.

Aaron's breathing gradually became hurried, and his aura was unstable, a clear sign of weakness.

"He can't hold on much longer," a Death Eater shouted excitedly, "The Patronus is fading."

"I was truly underestimated!" Aaron chuckled, quickly drawing the Higanbana. A silver-white bullet shot straight out, instantly hitting the Death Eater's abdomen.

Blood splattered. This time there were no flames, but the whistling of the strong wind clearly entered his ears.

Immediately afterward, a tearing pain spread throughout his body, as if he had been hit by several Severing Charms.

The moment he landed, his eyes rolled back, and he bounced a few times in a very unsightly manner before completely losing consciousness.

"I must speed up," Aaron looked up at the Holy Dragon, which had fallen into a weakened state, and subconsciously tightened his grip on the flintlock pistol.

Silver light continuously shot from the muzzle. Aaron didn't dare to use his full power now, only injecting less than a hundred magic energy each time, just as he had told the thought-form before, he wouldn't be stingy when it was needed.

He fired five shots continuously, killing two Death Eaters, and another had an arm broken.

However, he only had less than a tenth of his magic left, making it difficult to even maintain his Patronus.

More than half of the Death Eaters were dead or injured, and the remaining ones began to slowly approach Aaron.

"This is really tragic now," Aaron gasped for breath, collapsing onto the ground, utterly exhausted.

"Crucio!" A Death Eater swiftly approached, decisively casting Crucio, as if afraid of someone stealing his kill.

"Expelliarmus."

Aaron preemptively disarmed him, then lunged forward, pressing the muzzle against his forehead.

"No, don't," the Death Eater said nervously, "I didn't mean to kill you, I really didn't."

"But you wanted to torture me. You used Crucio, how cruel are you!" Aaron said coldly, then pulled the trigger, ending his life.

"Stupefy!" x3

Three Death Eaters joined forces, giving their all to cast the Sleeping Charm.

"Ah!"

Aaron roared, raised the Higanbana, and fired the last bullet.

The crimson-gold bullet shot from the muzzle, transforming into countless crystal filaments in mid-air, mixed with dense blue lightning, and collided with the Death Eaters' Sleeping Charms.
