Ring ring!
Yawn 🥱
5:30? So early!
Oh right… new school 🏫.
I got up, brushed my teeth 🪥, and started getting ready.
Sigh. New school, new start.
"Jay, breakfast is ready!" Tita shouted.
Breakfast 🥞 — my love 🤤.
"Coming, Tita!" I shouted back.
I quickly applied some blush and lip gloss 💄.
Yummy 😋 — pancakes and toast!
I grabbed a toast and said goodbye to Tita.
When I arrived at school, I saw the sign:
'Higher Value International School.'
So fancy!
I headed straight to the reception.
"Excuse me po?"
"Yes?" a pretty girl said.
"Do you know where room 503 is?"
"Section E."
"Yes po."
"Eww."
"It's back there. Go yourself."
Huh? Yeah, I guess I'm in the lowest section. My reports from my old school weren't great.
"It's fine, Jay," I whispered to myself.
I walked to where she told me to go. There was a small building — no, more like a hut — covered in vines.
Two boys rushed past me.
"Move!" they shouted, shoving me aside.
"Oy!" I said.
"We're gonna be late!" one called to the other as they ran off.
"Phew. Calm, Jay," I muttered.
I walked inside the building. There was this super handsome guy surrounded by a group of guys — sucking on a lollipop 🍭.
Damn, I wish I was the lollipop.
NO, JAY.
NO DIRTY THOUGHTS 💭.
"Excuse me po," I said in my sweetest voice.
"What?" he said, popping the lollipop from his mouth.
Rude much 🙄.
"Is this room 503?"
"No."
"But the girl—"
"Didn't you hear me? MOVE!!"
Huh? So that's how it's gonna be.
"Wow, you think sucking a lollipop makes you tough?"
A hum of laughter 🤭 spread through the group.
"Well, maybe try giving some respect instead," I shot back, shoving past them to take a seat at the back.
Then he walked in — the ulupong, the king of assholes…
And sat right next to me!?
