Jay-Jay's POV
I followed the smell of bacon 🥓 and coffee into the kitchen, still low-key freaking out that I'd woken up in Kiefer's house. The place was way tidier than I'd imagined — like, suspiciously tidy for someone who acts like he sleeps through alarms.
On my way downstairs, I caught sight of a mirror in the hallway and froze.
Wait.
Hold on.
Was I… wearing his hoodie?! 😳
I tugged at the hem — oversized, black, and definitely his. I looked like a walking blanket, but weirdly cozy.
"Kiefer!" I shouted, storming into the kitchen (well, more like stumbling). "Did you—did you change me?!"
He turned around, spatula in hand, completely unbothered. "No, I didn't," he said flatly. Then, with the tiniest smirk, added, "My caretaker did though."
"Your what?!" I gasped.
He shrugged. "Relax. She's like family. She came in when we got home. You were sleeping like a log."
"Oh my gosh…" I groaned, hiding my face.
He laughed under his breath. "Yeah, you should've seen her face when you mumbled something about 'the rooster.'"
I glared at him. "Don't. Even. Start." 😤
Before I could explode further, little footsteps pounded down the stairs. Two boys burst into the kitchen — one maybe thirteen, the other around nine.
"Kiefer! You said we could watch cartoons!" the youngest yelled.
"Yeah, yeah," he replied. "Keigan, Keiren — this is Jay."
"Hi!" I said, waving awkwardly in his hoodie that could fit both of them and me combined.
Keiren blinked up at me. Keigan just stared for a long second, then deadpanned,
"So… Kiefer's not gay?"
The air went silent for half a second before I choked out a laugh. "Wait—what?!" 😂
Keigan shrugged matter-of-factly. "He only ever brings boys home. You're the first girl we've seen here."
Kiefer nearly dropped the frying pan. "KEIGAN!"
I was dying. "Oh my god, I love you, kid. You're iconic."
Kiefer groaned into his hand. "They're. My. Friends."
"Sure," I teased, grinning. "So no secret boyfriend, huh?" 😏
He shot me a glare, but the tips of his ears turned red. Absolutely caught.
Keiren tugged at my sleeve with a grin. "Are you Kiefer's girlfriend?"
Kiefer immediately said, "No—she's just someone who got too drunk."
"Wow," I said dryly. "Such a gentleman."
The boys giggled while I slumped onto a chair, still wearing his hoodie, sipping the orange juice he poured.
Honestly, meeting his brothers made me feel… weirdly warm inside.
They were chaotic, honest, and cute — kind of like a peek into soft boy Kiefer's secret life 💅🔥.
