Chapter 25 - Ch:25-The One He Created

The system was no longer reacting.

It was waiting.

Every layer of existence stood unnaturally still, as if something had forced reality itself into silence. The flow of energy, once constant and controlled, now moved in slow, uncertain pulses—like a heartbeat that didn't know whether to continue.

At the center of it all—

Something new had awakened.

Aarav felt it before he saw it.

Not as power.

Not as presence.

But as familiarity.

"…No…" he whispered.

Because that feeling—

Didn't belong to an enemy.

It belonged to something connected.

Something close.

The space in front of him distorted.

Not violently.

Not chaotically.

But gently.

As if something was trying to take shape without fully understanding how.

A form began to appear.

Unstable.

Flickering.

Incomplete.

Much like Aarav once was.

The entity beside him stepped back slightly, its attention fixed entirely on the forming presence.

"…This is the outcome," it said.

But its tone had changed.

For the first time—

There was uncertainty.

Aarav didn't move.

Didn't speak.

Because now—

He could feel it clearly.

That connection.

That link.

It wasn't just familiar.

It was his.

"…You feel it too," the entity said quietly.

Aarav's voice dropped.

"…It's connected to me."

The system pulsed once.

As if confirming it.

The forming figure trembled, its shape shifting rapidly as it struggled to stabilize. Its outline resembled something human—but broken, incomplete, like a reflection that had been shattered and forced back together.

And then—

It spoke.

"…Why…?"

The voice cracked.

Distorted.

But real.

Aarav froze.

Because that voice—

Was not unknown.

It was a fragment.

An echo.

Of himself.

"…Why did you… change me…?"

Silence fell.

Heavy.

Unavoidable.

The Watcher didn't move.

The outsiders didn't speak.

Even the ancient presence—

Remained quiet.

Because this—

Was something none of them had planned.

Aarav stepped forward slowly.

"…What are you?" he asked.

The figure didn't answer immediately.

Its form stabilized slightly, enough for its face to begin forming—not fully clear, not perfectly defined, but close enough to see something that made Aarav stop completely.

It looked like him.

Not exactly.

But enough.

"…I don't know…" it said.

A pause.

"…I was… nothing…"

Its voice shook.

"…Then everything changed…"

Fragments of energy moved around it, pulling toward its form, trying to complete it—but failing, as if the system itself didn't know how to define what it had become.

The entity observing them spoke again.

"…You are a result," it said.

A pause.

"…Of interference."

The figure turned toward it sharply.

"…You did this…?"

The entity didn't deny it.

"…We initiated the condition."

A pause.

"…But the outcome…"

It looked back at Aarav.

"…is his."

Silence.

Because that meant—

This existence…

Was created by Aarav.

Not intentionally.

Not knowingly.

But directly.

Aarav's mind slowed.

"…I didn't create you," he said.

The figure shook its head weakly.

"…But you changed everything…"

A pause.

"…And I… became this…"

The system trembled again.

Because something unstable—

Was trying to exist.

The Watcher finally spoke.

"…This anomaly cannot remain."

Its voice carried authority again.

But weaker than before.

Because now—

There were too many unknowns.

The figure flinched.

"…Am I… wrong?" it asked.

Aarav didn't answer immediately.

Because he didn't know.

Was this a mistake?

A consequence?

Or something new entirely?

"…You're not wrong," Aarav said finally.

A pause.

"…You're just not understood."

The system reacted faintly.

As if that answer—

Changed something.

The figure looked at him.

"…Then why does it feel like I shouldn't exist…?"

That question—

Had no easy answer.

Because even Aarav felt it.

That contradiction.

That imbalance.

The entity observing them spoke again.

"…Existence is not about permission," it said.

A pause.

"…It is about persistence."

The figure trembled.

Stronger this time.

Its form flickering rapidly as something within it began to stabilize—not completely, not perfectly, but enough to hold itself together.

"…Then I'll exist," it said.

The words were weak.

But real.

The system pulsed again.

But this time—

Not in rejection.

In response.

Far beyond everything, the outsiders shifted.

Their attention sharpened.

Because something had just changed.

Not predicted.

Not calculated.

"…Deviation increasing…"

"…Outcome unstable…"

"…Correction required…"

For the first time—

They weren't just observing.

They were deciding.

Aarav felt it instantly.

That shift.

That intention.

"…They're going to act," he said.

The entity beside him didn't deny it.

"…Yes."

A pause.

"…Because this was not meant to happen."

The figure stepped closer to Aarav.

Unsteady.

But determined.

"…Will you… let them erase me?" it asked.

Silence.

Because that question—

Carried weight.

Not power.

Not control.

Choice.

Aarav looked at it.

At something that existed because of him.

Because of what he changed.

Because of what he broke.

"…No," he said.

Simple.

Clear.

Final.

The system reacted.

Strong.

Alive.

For the first time since everything began—

It aligned with him.

The Watcher turned sharply.

"…You would protect an anomaly?"

Aarav didn't hesitate.

"I would protect something that exists."

That answer—

Changed everything.

Far beyond, the outsiders moved.

Not slowly.

Not cautiously.

Directly.

Toward the system.

Toward Aarav.

Toward the anomaly.

The space beyond existence itself shifted as something massive began to approach—not one presence, but many, overlapping, expanding, converging toward a single point.

"…They're coming," the entity said.

But this time—

There was no calm.

Only certainty.

The figure beside Aarav trembled again.

"…What happens now…?" it asked.

Aarav didn't look away.

Didn't step back.

Didn't hesitate.

"…Now," he said quietly.

A pause.

"…we fight."

The system pulsed violently.

Not in fear.

Not in instability.

But in response.

As if it had made a choice.

Far beyond everything, something broke through.

Not the system.

Not the boundary.

But something deeper.

A crack.

In reality itself.

Light twisted.

Space fractured.

And something—

Began to enter.

The outsiders had stopped watching.

They had started arriving.

The entity stepped back.

For the first time—

Not observing.

Not testing.

But reacting.

"…This is escalation."

Aarav stood still.

Between the system.

Between the anomaly.

Between everything that was coming.

Because now—

There was no going back.

The figure beside him whispered.

"…What are we…?"

Aarav answered without hesitation.

"…Something new."

The crack widened.

The presence grew.

And then—

A voice echoed.

Not distant.

Not layered.

But singular.

And absolute.

"…Unauthorized existence detected."

Silence.

"…Initiating deletion."

Everything froze.

Because this time—

It wasn't observation.

It wasn't testing.

It wasn't curiosity.

It was judgment.

And it had already decided.

:The outsiders have arrived…

And they're not here to watch anymore.

They're here to erase everything.

But what happens when something that shouldn't exist… refuses to disappear..?
