The Grandeur of the Golden Kingdom:
His Golden Kingdom was so magnificent that it dazzled the eyes. Every time he walked, gold dust would scatter and drift away with the wind. His entire palace was crafted from pure gold. Looking into his eyes, it felt as if all the celestial Devas resided within them. His face possessed everything one could desire, and his beauty was like looking directly at Heaven itself.
His throne was not made of gold alone; the moment he sat upon it, all the worlds trembled. A divine fragrance always wafted from him. To witness his smile would spark countless desires and longings in the hearts of others. In his Golden Kingdom, the temple for Lord Shiva stood with immense grandeur. The life of the people in his kingdom was so wonderful that it would make one's eyes glisten with awe.
"He attained skills never learnt from anyone through his own intellect."
The Meeting of Mayan and Kandan:
As told by their Guru, Mayan and Kandan meet the Sage. This Sage had come from the Golden Kingdom and had served as a Guru to the King of that realm. Both of them first paid their respects to him.
Then, Mayan asked him how to reach the Golden Kingdom. Kandan asked the same.
The Sage Responds:
"I know very well who both of you are. That Golden Kingdom you seek is not in these three worlds. No one knows where it is, except for God himself. I will tell you a short poem about that land; the words of the Great Poet (Kambar) would be most fitting for this."
"Where ignorance is gone, and learning shines bright;
Where poverty is dead, and prosperity stays upright;
Where lies are unknown, and truth remains the soul;
Where hospitality breathes, as the kingdom's goal;
Praised by Kambar, who crafted virtue with his word—
The King conquered Time, with glory rarely heard!"
(Note: These lines are adapted from the philosophy of the Great Poet Kambar)
After finishing the poem, the Sage continued:
"Do you hear this, boy? When he says 'there is no ignorance,' it means not a single person there is uneducated. Therefore, there is no nescience. Since there is no poverty, there is no need for 'charity' because everyone is equally wealthy. And look... treating guests well is not a duty there; it is as natural as the breath they take. Because he sowed such great Virtue (Dharma) in his rule, that King has conquered Time and lives there as a God even today!"
The Sage then departed from that place. Mayan and Kandan decided to watch him as he left.
Lord Kannan's Decision:
What Lord Kannan says is that he has decided to accept both Naveen and Valli as his disciples. Upon hearing this, Naveen and Valli were filled with great joy.
The King and the Guru:
As soon as the King saw his Guru arrive at the palace, he descended from his throne and fell at his feet to worship him.
King: "Guru, why have you come here?"
Guru: "I just came to see you. I wanted to see you, and now I have. Alright, I shall leave now."
The Sage then departed from there.
Vaikuntha:
"Narayana... Narayana..."
Lord Thirumal (Vishnu):
"Narada has arrived. What has he brought with him?"
Narada:
"My humble salutations."
Narada said to Lord Thirumal: "The King of that Golden Kingdom has now brought even Heaven under his control. Now, what are you going to do? How are you going to stop him? His next move is towards the Earthly world (Bhulokam). I have heard that the King of the Golden Kingdom has received countless boons from Lord Shiva, Shukracharya, and various Sages."
Lord Thirumal:
"Time will answer everything, Narada."
Narada:
"Narayana... Narayana."
"He who rests on the Milky Ocean, guarding the Supreme State;
With a cloud-hued form, protecting the Earth's fate;
Ruling Vaikuntha as the light of wisdom for all—
Virtue that conquered Time shall flourish, at the Lord's call!"
(Note: These lines are adapted from the philosophy of the Great Poet Kambar)
"While Lord Kannan, Mayan, Kandan, Naveen, and Valli reside within the earthly realm of 'Vaiyagam' (Earth), the Supreme Lord Thirumal exists beyond time and space in His celestial abode — Vaikuntha."
