Chapter 2 - Can we still be frnd's?!

On the way, a thought suddenly struck him—

Why today?

Fights weren't new between Engineering and Architecture. Small clashes, ego battles, heated arguments… those were common. But this—this felt different.

This felt planned.

John's steps remained steady, but his mind began to race.

Eric…

He had heard enough about him. Reckless. Fearless. The kind of person who solved everything with his fists. The complete opposite of John.

And yet… something about this situation didn't sit right.

By the time John reached the ground, chaos had already taken over.

Shouts echoed.

Dust filled the air.

People pushed, pulled, fought without thinking.

And at the center of it all—

Eric.

Punching, dodging, standing tall like he owned the battlefield. There was something wild in his eyes… but not mindless. No, there was purpose there.

John noticed it immediately.

He's not just fighting… he's looking for something.

John stepped forward.

"Enough."

His voice wasn't loud.

But it cut through the noise like a blade.

It was strange… almost unnatural.

One by one, heads turned.

Even in the middle of a fight, something about John's presence forced attention.

Eric stopped mid-punch.

Their eyes met for the first time.

Silence.

For a brief second, the entire ground seemed to freeze.

Eric wiped the blood off his lip and smirked.

"So… the artist finally showed up."

John didn't react.

Instead, he calmly observed the situation—the injuries, the positions, the faces. His gaze sharpened.

"This wasn't random," he said quietly.

Eric's smirk faded just a little.

"Oh? Then what was it?"

John took a step closer.

"A setup."

Murmurs spread.

Before anyone could react, a voice suddenly shouted from the back—

"Look out!"

Something flew through the air—

A metal rod.

Straight toward Eric.

But before it could hit—

Clang!

John had already moved.

He caught it.

Bare-handed.

The impact echoed.

Everyone stared in shock.

For the first time, Eric's expression changed completely.

Not surprise.

Not anger.

Interest.

John slowly lowered the rod, his grip firm.

His calm eyes scanned the crowd… and then locked onto someone trying to slip away.

"There."

Eric didn't hesitate.

Without asking a single question, he charged in that direction.

John followed.

The crowd parted instinctively as the two leaders—so different, yet strangely in sync—moved together for the first time.

Behind them, the fight slowly died down.

Because deep down…

Everyone felt it.

This wasn't just a clash between two groups anymore.

This was something bigger.

And it had only just begun.
