Staying in her room, Syl looked at the newspapers and news filling her bed. For some reason, she paced back and forth by the bedside with a surging heart.

Even though the trip to Hope Cathedral was only in the morning, by the afternoon, newspapers and news were flying everywhere.

The overflowing words of praise, the pilgrimage-like gazes of passersby, and the respectful eyes of those around her made Syl's heart beat faster, and her footsteps even became a bit floaty.

Now, every step she took felt like treading on clouds, dreamlike and illusory.

"Knock knock knock—"

"Sister Syl! Here's another newspaper~" Sigma simply knocked once before pushing the door open and entering, exceptionally familiar with the way.

At the same time, she held a brand-new newspaper in her hand, walking lightly to Syl's side and handing it to her.

"Thank you, Sister Sigma." Syl nodded and glanced at the headline; as expected, it was another front-page story with similar high praise.

"Sister Syl, it seems like these are from all the newspaper offices in the city." Sigma's expression looked very happy, as if she would also be happy whenever Syl was praised by others.

"Alright," Syl casually threw the newspaper onto the bed, then smiled and said to Sigma, "Do you think I've changed at all lately?"

"Changed?" Sigma looked at Syl with some confusion, then shook her head. "No."

Syl took a deep breath: "Is that so... that's good then."

Syl felt that lately, her mood was somewhat sinking into the admiration and privileges gained after becoming the Saintess.

This could easily make her lose herself and forget what she originally wanted.

"Sister Syl, I'm getting ready to leave." Sigma lowered her head, her hands hanging at her sides, nervously fiddling with her nun's habit. "I'm preparing to return to the Monastery; after all, I haven't become a formal nun yet."

"Why go back?" Having finally found someone to talk to, Syl didn't want her to leave just like that. "I can talk to Pope Sharon and have her let you stay."

"There's no need, Sister Syl." Sigma shook her head. "I want to go back to the Monastery to study on my own."

Syl didn't speak, just quietly looked at Sigma. Outside the window, the setting sun fell, casting a ring of golden light around Syl's figure.

"I... I will definitely study hard and then become the most powerful Archbishop to protect Sister!" Sigma's small fist clenched in front of her chest, her face full of seriousness.

"Is that so..."

Syl raised her hand but eventually let it down.

Having ambition is a good thing; she couldn't keep her by her side just for her own selfish desires.

"Then you must do your best. It's not very far anyway; I can visit you often." Syl smiled faintly.

Seemingly encouraged by Syl, little Sigma nodded vigorously: "Mm!"

"Then I'll be goi— Eh?"

Just as Sigma was about to leave, Syl reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"This is for you," Syl took off the small silver hair clip in the style of the church emblem from the top of her head and pinned it onto Sigma's short brown hair.

"This thing..." Sigma suddenly panicked, preparing to take the hair clip off.

Although Sister Syl was very good to her, Sister Syl was now the Saintess, and the items on her person were very precious. If it went missing, Sister Syl might be blamed... This was what Sigma was thinking.

"Keep it, don't take it off," Syl pressed down on Sigma's small hand and said, "I saw it when they were helping me dress up that day; they have a whole big box of these things."

"Ugh..." Sigma didn't know how to face the current situation, feeling both joyful and worried.

"Go on, it'll be too late soon. Remember to have a sister nun take you back in a carriage." Syl patted Sigma's shoulder, indicating that it was getting late.

"Mm... Goodbye, Sister Syl. The carriage is already downstairs." Sigma took a few steps, looked back at Syl once more, and then ran off.

After the door closed, Syl stood there for a long time.

Perhaps she just wanted to hear if Sigma would trip again outside, but unfortunately, she heard nothing.

"Sigh..."

Syl let out a long sigh.

Even Sigma was working so hard to improve; what reason did she have to continue immersing herself in this illusory dream?

"The System said there would be a great upheaval in the church. It's better to believe it than not. Before that, I must have the ability to protect myself." Syl thought to herself while tidying up the newspapers on the bed.

After stacking the newspapers neatly on the table, Syl sat down and prepared to call out the System to re-confirm the mission details.

"Sys—"

"Life, parting, normal."

A voice suddenly appeared behind Syl, startling her so much that she jumped.

"Waaah!!!" Syl turned around quickly and saw the petite Aishala praying toward the church emblem on the room's wall.

"Why are you here? Archbishop Aishala..." Syl patted her chest, pretending to be frightened.

In fact, Syl was indeed frightened because Aishala appeared just as she was about to call the System.

Fortunately, she only said it in her mind, but it still made some cold sweat break out on Syl's forehead.

"Praying, Saintess's room, good luck."

"No..." Syl rested her right hand on her forehead and asked speechlessly, "I mean, why are you in my room..."

"Protection, not ended."

"Um... where is Sister Sharon?" Syl asked about Sharon's whereabouts.

"Seven Churches, meeting, Pope."

"Gone to a meeting with the Popes of the other six churches?" Syl translated Aishala's condensed sentences, receiving an affirmative nod from Aishala.

"You don't have to follow me all the time like this... Lord Archbishop Aishala, don't you have anything else to do?" If Aishala didn't leave, Syl would be restricted in whatever she did.

"Yes." Aishala nodded. "Teach."

"Teach?"

"Spiritual Sight."
