I sagged with the release of tension and looked across to find Molly and Leo standing on the other side of the bed. I gave them both a smile and then something on Leo's neck caught my eye and stopped me.
"You are marked," I said, pointing.
Molly blushed. Leo chuckled and rubbed at the unmarked side of his shoulder out of habit. "Yeah, we are."
"When?"
They looked at each other briefly. "The night before you went missing."
I chewed my lip at the mention of it but pushed past it and nodded. "Congratulations then, official sister-in-law."
Molly smiled and came to sit on the edge of the bed beside my legs. "Thank you, Sherbet. I missed you so much. I had things I wanted to rant about and squeal about and you were not there for any of it. Even the twins are not here."
I went still at the mention of the twins. The guilt hit me like something physical and I swallowed it down without letting it show on my face.
