Jay's POV.
I woke up As usual. I knew that today i m going to get a lecture from kuya Angelo as exams are near. I went to shower and got ready for school.
Keifer told me that he had to go to keirens school before picking me. I denied it as they were in opposite direction to my house.
I greeted Tita and left today my appetite was full so I just ate 2 hot dogs 3 lechons and 1 burger for breakfast.
I left and soon reached school.As i entered the classroom. My glance shifted towards Keifer. He was sitting on his seat , looking at me he gave me a smile and I nodded him. I sat on my seat.
The classroom felt quieter than usual as everyone settled into their seats. I tried to focus on my notes, but the usual whispers and nudges from Section E made it hard.
Eman leaned over and whispered, "Jay… are you ready for this?"
"I… think so," I muttered, gripping my pen tighter. I wasn't exactly confident, but I had to try.
Ci-n snickered from the back. "Don't worry, we'll see who survives the day," he whispered, smirking.
Keifer sat close, his presence steady and protective. He didn't interfere with what I was doing, but when a few of them whispered too loudly, his gaze flicked toward them. Just that small look was enough to make them quiet down.
The door opened and Sir Alvin entered, books in hand. The room straightened immediately. "Settle down, everyone. Exams are coming up, and I want you focused. Follow the schedule carefully and no distractions."
Everyone nodded, though some barely tried to hide their usual mischief.
The day passed slowly. Sir Alvin explained the exams, gave instructions, and reminded us of the rules. I scribbled my notes, trying to keep up, while Keifer leaned slightly toward me, guiding my hand subtly when I faltered. I could feel the faint pressure of his presence, like a shield against everything else in the room.
Meanwhile, Section E couldn't help themselves. Mayo and Kit whispered, teasing me about my "study struggle." Drew muttered something about who'd get questions wrong first. Eman chuckled quietly, nudging someone next to him. Blaster snickered behind his hand, Rory and Edrix whispered to each other, plotting something mischievous.David was asking usual sleeping.Yuri was absent today.
Even though Keifer didn't speak much, I could tell he was watching, quietly protective. Not obeying anyone, just… making sure I was okay.
By the end of the day, everyone began packing their bags. The teasing didn't stop, though it had softened.
"Finally done torturing your brain?" Eman asked with a grin.
Ci-n chuckled, "Don't worry, you survived," he said quietly.
Keifer leaned slightly toward me. "Ready to go?" he asked, his voice calm but possessive.
I nodded, grabbing my bag. We left the classroom together, Section E's playful whispers following us down the hallway.
Even with all the teasing and chaos, I felt calm, protected, and… finally content.
