Nearly a month had passed and they have graduated and now they have kept a graduation party at keifer's house..
Jay's POV.
The moment I stepped into Keifer's house, I knew this was going to be… chaotic. The party was in full swing—music booming, laughter everywhere, and Section E already scattered around the living room.
I felt Keifer's hand brush against mine as we walked in, steadying me. "Relax," he whispered, his thumb gently stroking the back of my hand. "They already know."
I swallowed nervously. They did know. The live-in secret that had been so carefully hidden… now out in the open.
Felix was the first to notice. "Wait… is that…?" His eyes widened as they landed on me.
Ci-n jumped up, pointing at us. "Jay! You're… you're really staying with him? For real?"
I nodded, cheeks flushing slightly. "Yes, Ci-n."
Keigan, who used to glare at me every time I showed up, now gave a small, awkward smile. "Finally… you're really ours now, huh?" His voice was tentative but sincere.
Rory and Edrix exchanged looks, smirking. "So the rumors were true," Rory said. "Jay and Keifer, huh? Interesting."
Drew, never missing a chance to tease, leaned forward. "Well well well… about time! Don't tell me you were hiding from us, Jay!"
I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help smiling. "I wasn't hiding."
Eren laughed loudly, slapping his knee. "Keifer finally locked it down, huh? Good for you, man!"
David stayed quiet, but I caught him glancing at me with that… stunned look. The same look he always got when things didn't go according to plan. I could almost hear him thinking: I didn't see that coming.
And then… Yuri.
Of course, I sensed him before I even saw him. That calm, calculating presence.
He leaned casually against the wall, watching. Not reacting, not speaking. Just watching. That dangerous smirk of his made my stomach twist.
I tried to ignore him, focusing on the teasing and chatter around me. But every so often, my eyes drifted to him—and he'd already noticed.
"Jay," he said softly, almost to himself, though I knew it was meant for me.
I froze. "Yes?" I whispered.
He didn't answer directly. Just tilted his head, a small smirk playing at his lips. His eyes gleamed with… something I couldn't name. Curiosity? Amusement? Danger? Maybe all three.
I looked away quickly. I wasn't ready to deal with him tonight.
The teasing continued.
"Keifer, you didn't tell us she'd move in already?" Drew asked, laughing. "That's cheating! You guys just hid it too well."
Keifer smirked, his hand tightening subtly around mine. "I like surprises," he said flatly.
Rory shook his head. "You've got it made, Jay. He's spoiling you already."
"I can handle it," I said lightly, keeping my blush in check.
Keigan nudged me. "Yeah, but don't let him get too possessive. You need some fun too, Ate Jay."
I laughed softly. "I think I can handle him."
Edrix leaned in conspiratorially. "Oh, she'll handle him. But I'm excited to see what he does when you tease him back."
Keifer's eyes flicked toward them, calm but sharp. The warning in his gaze was unmistakable. Don't push.
And then, Yuri.
I noticed him again, standing at the edge of the crowd. He didn't approach. Didn't say a word. But every glance toward me, every subtle smirk, made my heart race.
He was the quiet predator in the room. Watching. Waiting. Calculating.
I tried to shake it off, focusing on Keifer's steady presence at my side. But the moment lingered like a shadow.
By the end of the night, Section E had calmed slightly, laughter still echoing, music playing softly.
I leaned against Keifer, feeling the warmth of his body. He whispered in my ear, "We'll handle him. Don't worry about Yuri."
I nodded, but my stomach churned. Yuri's presence was magnetic, dangerous, and I knew he wasn't done yet.
As we stepped out onto the balcony for some quiet, the city lights glittering below, I felt it—the tension wasn't over.
Keifer held my hand, thumb stroking gently. "He won't cross the line… not with me here."
I wanted to believe him. I tried.
But then, from the shadows of the party, I felt it again… that piercing gaze.
Yuri's eyes were still on us. Watching. Waiting.
And I knew one thing for certain:
This game had only just begun.
