But Varek did not stop his advance.
Neve was actually happy that this was happening. That way, everyone would be distracted. They would forget about the fact that Neve had been crowned as Zyreth's killer. The attention would shift from him to this sudden romantic drama unfolding before everyone's eyes. It felt like they were watching a movie in ultra HD.
And so far, it was working perfectly.
