After being pleased with Soma and Streusens work I finally headed back to my world to see if anything has been going on in my absence.
Thinking about this I called up Ainz, 'Anything been going on over on your guys end of things?' I asked as I sat down upon my throne.
'We've decided to put into motion of taking of the Lizardmen into our fold, not only that but I have some intriguing information about the mountain dwarves nearby.' He said to me which I had a feeling I knew what he was talking about.
After learning that things are predestined in a sense in this world Ainz, Pero and Buku made it clear unless absolutely necessary, they didn't want me spoiling anything anymore.
The whole Shalltear getting controlled was definitely important to tell them along with our main enemy being the Slane Theocracy with what they would have done as a result.
Although unless it was absolutely important they would figure it out on their own, as for using the shop they are more interested in dealing with this world before changing up plans to check out other worlds with me.
'How is it going n your end in the east?' He asked me while leaning back in my throne while I explained everything that happened over on my side in detail along with my recent trip to hell.
'Interesting, sinners who wish to pull themselves out of hell and redeem themselves, something you'd hear from end times in the bible happening over there.' Ainz said but I grinned.
'Surprisingly Jesus never came to be in that universe, after the biblical flood it seems the version of God in that universe left the world be for mortals to deal with, which has lead to most people ending up as sinners there and less going to heaven.' I said as I laughed to myself while swirling my wine glass.
'Angels, Tch, in Yggdrasil I've never like players who played them, so righteous and holier than thou, always putting themselves better than anyone else.' Ainz began to grumble about them to which I chuckled.
'Your only pissed about getting jumped by Seraphim and getting killed by a three way simultaneous sneak attack of [Gods Decent] on you a few years back.' I said hearing a 'Hmph' on the other end.
'And who was also hunted down by a group of Vampire Hunters from the {Bloody Rose} Guild in the Nighrisha Labyrinth?' He said which made me purse my lips hearing that.
'Touché, well let me know if anything comes up, after I consolidate the territory I had gained I'll tell you my plans next.' I said to him which he nodded before we both ended the chat between us.
I took a sip from my Blood Wine before leaning back in my throne to think about what to do next.
I am now considered a Minor god in a sense, I am gaining faith from my slowly building followers of the Blood Cult and the Followers of Artemis in the Elven territory.
Feeling the slow building of followers I began to look through the shop on how to become a god.
"Really? They actually made a 'How to Become a God For Dummies? Seriously?" I couldn't help but say as I saw the book which cost a single credit which is surprising for a book that looked like this being worth a single credit at it.
So I bought it before beginning to look it over and flipping the pages all the way to the Minor God to God explanation of it.
'To go up from minor god to a true god one must have two things that are needed to reach your next stage of apotheosis, one is having a massive amount of {Faith} gained through your followers Worship.'
'More worshippers will increase {Faith} Exponentially though the accumulation can be felt within oneself like a container until it overflows and you become a true god.'
'The other thing needed is one must have their own {Afterlife} created for one's followers so they may been eternally faithful to you and live in an afterlife they truly desire for them, most gods need only one {Afterlife} however if you have more than one authority to your name, or those that worship you believe in you as two separate deity's then you must make multiple planes to separate the afterlife's of different followers at that.'
'When those are made and Apotheosis is completed you shall have truly become a true god, but this is only the next step to godhood, to find out more please purchase-' Seeing that I squint my eyes and toss it to the side.
"Wanting me to buy another book in a series of books? Not this time, so I need an {Afterlife} and a large amount of followers…" I say to myself as I thought it over.
Now alone with my magic power could I create an {Afterlife} as is? No, it's not even remotely possible as the mana output would be the level of trying to create something like a permanent Reality Marble from the world of Fate/FGO just to make that possible.
[Castlevania] is 'technically' a reality marble in a sense but it's not cut off from the mortal world, as such it couldn't be a place where a soul goes when it dies…. Or could it?
Since I have become the King of Vampires I have full control and dominion over the territory that is Castlevania and in essence makes this my own personal plain of existence that is been sanctified as my own.
However this place if I went that route could only be perfect as the realm of souls for my followers of the blood cult allowing new souls to be reborn in this place into a new life of service to me.
Though even if my followers of the Blood Cult die they might not want to be reborn as a Newborn Vampire under my command and remain a soul that is at peace.
So in the end I need to create two planes of existence that are in my control for both of my followers to live within in death.
It did warn if I didn't create an afterlife I would then consume their souls to empower myself as a result which would freely add them to the overall millions of souls I have hidden within my body.
That does help me overtime in the long run but once that happens that soul no longer provides me faith as their ego is erased to be used as essence to help protect my life, with an afterlife I can infinitely gain faith from my followers in return.
At least for one thing even if all my followers ceased to exist I wouldn't lose my divinity since its inherently apart of my body unlike naturally made gods in that regard, however my strength gained through divinity would be overall around what I have now compared later down the road.
So with that said I began to look into what I could truly use as a reference for creating a new afterlife.
All while this was happening the official opening day of the store down in hell for my new Employee's.
