As his vision blurred, he saw his mother's body slowly turning into ashes-starting from her feet up to her head.
"Hahh… so I was only hallucinating…!?"
The ashes were carried away by a gentle wind, yet it felt painful to him.
(Hushh)
"Hahaha… this is very funny," he muttered in his mind.
It seemed that the last thing he wanted to reach disappeared just like that, carried away by the calm wind.
"This… all of this is not that bad at all…"
He began recalling the times when he had wasted the moments he had with his mother and his family.
From the right and left, the shouts of soldiers could be heard as they evacuated the people in the village.
"Over there!" shouted one of the soldiers.
Shouts could also be heard from the soldiers who were helping those trapped under the rubble.
"One… two, quickly lift it!" shouted the
commander.
"Ahh… you all are so noisy… damn it," he
muttered.
"Can't I die peacefully…?
Within the darkness of his vision, a bright golden light appeared, shining so intensely that it pierced through the darkness he saw-as if it became the next hope.
"Damn it… it's always like this… why does hope always come to me at times like this… when everything has already been taken from me…!?"
(Huff… his breath sounded heavy.)
"Does God want to see me suffer…!?"
Without any hesitation, he made a gamble with his entire body.
He gathered all of his remaining strength-without his body trembling, he grabbed the light and stabbed it into his own heart.
"Bastard… if that's what you want, then I will accept it… even if I have to die thousands of times…!" he shouted.
(Krack)
The light pierced deep into his heart, creating a large hole-tearing his flesh and penetrating his ribs.
"Damn… damn…"
"My body is numb… I can't breathe…"
Behind that pain, his entire body suddenly recovered, as if he had been reborn.
"Wha… what is this… why does my body feel recov…"
His body could no longer support itself, and he fainted for the second time.
His soul drifted into another place-a place he did not recognize at all.
That place was filled with white fog, and strangely, his body did not touch anything.
He was floating and flying.
"Is this what is called heaven… or is this hell…!?"
Without realizing it, his body drifted aimlessly, passing through the white fog.
"What… what is happening to my body…!? Then where should I go…?"
(Confused, his body kept moving.)
(His body split through the layers of white fog.)
Then what happened to my body-this body doesn't feel like it belongs to him.
Within that strangeness, a sense of happiness appeared, because finally he could do anything without feeling pain anymore.
"This feels like heaven… I can do anything here… ah, no, I must focus… what should I do here…"
Suddenly, from afar, a woman's voice-soft and gentle, yet firm-called out to him.
"Where… is that voice coming from…!?"
"O human child… follow my voice, and you will reach this place."
"Hey… where are you… don't play with me."
The voice stopped responding, causing the entire place to fall silent again.
Without caring, he kept moving aimlessly.
"Why… does this place have no end…!?"
But as he thought that, a small light appeared, then grew larger, revealing a beautiful garden beneath him.
"What… what is that?" he asked himself.
Curious, he tried to enter the garden, but when he tried, he couldn't enter at all.
He kept trying until he became exhausted.
"Hey… woman, or whoever you are, I'm already at your place!!" he shouted loudly.
Seconds passed into minutes, minutes passed into hours-there was still no answer.
At the last moment before his emotions exploded, the woman's voice was heard again with a mocking tone.
"Haha… so you finally arrived… I thought with your body, you would need two years to get here."
"Hey, watch your words, you damn…!" he shouted.
"Hahaha, alright… forgive me for that… now you can enter my place."
(Hesitant, he did not believe her words.)
"I will not believe you…!?"
"Haha… why don't you try it yourself," she said mockingly.
With all his strength, he tried again-and this time, what the woman said was true.
His body fell without direction into plants that were pink in color and had a very fragrant scent when smelled.
"Ahh… damn it…"
Embarrassed, he stood up and walked toward the direction of the woman's voice.
When he arrived, he saw a playground that had: a swing, a pair of slides, a seesaw, and trees that covered the place.
And he saw a woman wearing luxurious clothes like a noble, with white as the dominant color.
However, there was something strange-her face could not be seen at all, because it was covered by a very thick fog.
Ignoring that, he immediately, without manners, asked many kinds of questions in great detail.
Where am I..!?"
what's wrong with my...body!?
"What is this place..!?"
"Who are you..!?"
Without caring who the person in front of him was, he kept asking questions without giving the woman any chance to answer at all.
"Ah... you really talk too much."
Strangely, the woman began chanting a spell that he did not understand at all-moments later, his lips could no longer move at all and became stiff.
"Hahh... you are such a troublesome one."
"To the point that I have to use this."
Finally, the woman began to speak, "maybe I cannot answer all of your questions, because I myself do not know what I am, nor since when I have been here." He was confused by the answer given, then the woman explained again.
"The second problem... I cannot stay with you for long, so... maybe we will meet again."
Those were the last words from the woman.
After that, the space began to shake and collapse, causing everything to be covered by emptiness once again.
As the space collapsed, his body kept falling into the abyss of emptiness.
"Haaa.. damn it, what did you do to me..!?"
His body continued to fall downward without ever reaching the ground.
(Wusshh)
Within the darkness, he tried to grab onto something to save himself, but there was nothing he could reach.
"Fuck...Bastarddd!" he shouted loudly.
