Chapter 10: The Final Practice
In the Hokage's office,
Ever since Konohamaru had left with Naruto, Hiruzen Sarutobi had been periodically using his Telescope Technique to monitor the two boys.
On one hand, he was worried about Naruto's sudden change in behavior. On the other, he feared Konohamaru would pick up bad habits from him.
Now, it seemed that worry had been justified.
"He's actually teaching Konohamaru the Seduction Technique… honestly."
Hiruzen rubbed his forehead as he watched the scene in his crystal ball. He didn't even want to imagine his grandson transforming into a woman right in front of him.

Naruto had no intention of explaining the Nine-Tails to Konohamaru. It had nothing to do with the boy, and he didn't feel like wasting words.
Before long, they stopped in front of a bookstore.
Naruto remembered one of the training steps for the Seduction Technique took place here.
"Big Brother, why are we at a bookstore?"
"To read."
With that, Naruto led the way inside. Konohamaru followed closely behind.
The bookstore owner was napping and didn't seem likely to wake up anytime soon.
Naruto openly took Konohamaru to the shelves and began searching for books.
"If you want to master the Seduction Technique, you need to understand women."
Naruto picked up a book and handed it to Konohamaru. "Start with this one."

Konohamaru answered loudly, accidentally waking the sleeping owner.
The moment the owner saw Naruto, his face darkened with anger.
"Naruto! Didn't I tell you that you're not allowed to read books here for free?!"
Naruto raised a hand to stop the angry man. "I'm not the one reading. He is."
"I don't care who it is — no free reading in my store. Wait… Young Master Konohamaru?"
The owner paused, hesitated, then gave Naruto a warning look. "You better not let me catch you sneaking a look at my books, or I won't go easy on you!"
Naruto shrugged indifferently. He wasn't interested in the books anyway.
"Konohamaru, read quickly. We still have other places to go after this."
"Yes, Big Brother!"
The fashion magazine wasn't thick. Konohamaru finished it in just a few minutes.
When he closed the magazine, Naruto asked, "Done?"
"Done, Big Brother!"
"Remembered everything?"
"Remembered, Big Brother!"
"Then read another one."
"Yes, Big Brother!"
Naruto hadn't forgotten how poorly Konohamaru had performed in the original training. He decided to be stricter during the preparation phase. Since he had plenty of time, he didn't mind teaching slowly.
Half an hour later, Konohamaru had gone through every fashion magazine in the store before they moved on to the next location.
The Konoha Bathhouse.
Standing in front of the bathhouse, Naruto's expression turned unusually serious.
"This final training step depends entirely on you, Konohamaru."
"Yes, Big Brother!"
"Go."
Konohamaru gave a serious salute, then walked into the bathhouse with the determination of someone heading into battle.
Naruto waited quietly outside.
A few minutes later, loud chaos erupted from inside. Konohamaru came sprinting out.
"Big Brother, I'm back!"
"Finished?"
"Finished!"
"Good. Let's go. Now comes the final practice."
Naruto led Konohamaru to a clearing in the forest and had him perform the Seduction Technique again.
"Transform!"

When the smoke cleared, a woman who looked almost identical to his previous failed attempt appeared.

"Are you sure you actually looked at the magazines?"
"I'm sure, Big Brother!"
"Then why does what you turned into have almost nothing in common with those cute girls?"
"Try again!"
"Yes, Big Brother!"
"Transform!"
Konohamaru was surprisingly slow when it came to this technique. He practiced from afternoon until nearly sunset before finally managing a decent result.
It might also have something to do with his mediocre grasp of the basic Transformation Technique.
"Not bad. But if you want to defeat your grandpa, you still need more practice."
The woman Konohamaru transformed into was pretty, but something was still missing. Besides low proficiency, his understanding of the technique itself was lacking.
"Understood, Big Brother!"
Konohamaru looked happy to receive even that small bit of praise from Naruto.
At that moment, a figure appeared behind them.
"Finally found you!"
Ebisu first shot Naruto a disdainful look, then spoke gently to Konohamaru. "Let's go home, Young Master Konohamaru."
Naruto ignored Ebisu's glare. He glanced at the darkening sky and said to Konohamaru, "I was about to head home anyway. I'll teach you more another day."
"Yes, Big Brother!"
Konohamaru continued, "But before you leave, can I ask you for one favor?"
"What is it?" Naruto asked, puzzled.
"I want to test the results of my training!"
Konohamaru stood straight and bowed deeply. "Please!"
Naruto looked at Ebisu, then back at Konohamaru. After a brief hesitation, he agreed. "Make it quick."
"Yes!"
Konohamaru said excitedly, "Just watch, Big Brother! I'll definitely use the technique you taught me to defeat Grandpa and become Hokage! But first, let me defeat this annoying guy in the way!"
Hearing himself called an "annoying guy," Ebisu looked a little hurt.
However, he was more concerned that Konohamaru had been learning ninjutsu from Naruto.
Ebisu frowned at Naruto, then turned to Konohamaru. "Young Master Konohamaru, the ninjutsu you learned from that person will never be enough to defeat the Hokage. The fastest way to become the Fifth Hokage is to study under me — Konoha's elite instructor!"
