Jujutsu High's training yard didn't get a break.
Not that day.
Not at all.
The morning sun had shifted.
Then the afternoon.
And still—
Takeru was there.
Same bandages.
Same clothes.
Same relentless movement.
Yuji leaned against a fence post, exhausted just watching.
"…He's still going?"
Hakari nodded slowly.
"…He's definitely still going."
Maki stood with her arms crossed.
"…He hasn't stopped once."
Nobara squinted.
"…That's not even training anymore. That's just… movement addiction."
Gojo, sitting casually on the edge of a railing, hummed.
"…Mm. That's what happens when you mix determination, no sleep, and bad ideas."
Down in the yard—
Takeru slammed into a training dummy again.
Hard.
Clean break.
No hesitation.
He paused.
Just for a second.
Then immediately shifted to the next one.
"…Again."
Yuji frowned.
"…He keeps saying that."
Hakari tilted his head.
"…Yeah, but it sounds less like 'training' now and more like 'refusing to stop existing.'"
Maki pushed off the fence.
"…He's pushing past normal limits."
Nobara crossed her arms tighter.
"…Is that even safe?"
Gojo shrugged.
"…Safe is a flexible concept here."
Takeru moved faster again.
Footwork sharper.
Strikes heavier.
Breathing still steady—but thinner now.
Like the exhaustion was finally starting to sit in, but he was ignoring it completely.
Yuji stepped forward slightly.
"…Hey—Takeru!"
No response.
Nobara called out next.
"…You need to take a break!"
Still nothing.
Hakari whistled.
"…Yeah, he's in full tunnel mode."
Maki's expression tightened.
"…He's going to hit a wall soon."
Gojo finally stood.
"…Or he already did and just didn't notice."
Takeru stopped again.
For the first time in a while.
Everyone perked up.
"…Finally," Yuji muttered.
Takeru slowly turned.
Looked at them.
And smiled.
Small.
Tired.
Still weirdly bright.
"…I'm improving."
Silence.
Nobara blinked.
"…You look like you're about to fall over."
Takeru nodded.
"…Noted."
Then immediately—
went back to training.
Yuji grabbed his head.
"…HE ACKNOWLEDGED IT AND IGNORED IT!"
Hakari laughed.
"…That's honestly impressive."
Maki exhaled.
"…He's not stopping until someone physically forces him."
Gojo stretched.
"…Or until his body wins the argument."
Another dummy shattered.
Takeru's movement slowed slightly after that hit.
Just a fraction.
But noticeable.
Yuji stepped forward again.
"…Okay, seriously—"
Takeru raised a hand without turning around.
"…One more set."
Nobara groaned.
"…He always says that!"
Hakari shrugged.
"…Yeah, that's the trap."
Maki finally started walking toward him.
"…I'm ending this."
Gojo waved lazily.
"…Try not to break him more than he already is."
And as she approached—
Takeru kept training.
Still moving.
Still pushing.
Still refusing to stop.
Like stopping would mean losing momentum entirely.
