The next morning felt suspiciously normal.
That was usually the first warning sign.
Yuji walked into the common area, still half-awake.
"…Please tell me yesterday didn't actually happen."
Hakari was already sitting there, scrolling his phone.
"…It did."
Maki stood by the wall, arms crossed tighter than usual.
"…It got worse."
Gojo waved lazily from the counter.
"…It always gets worse."
And then—
Takeru walked in.
Focused.
Calm.
Already holding his phone like he had been busy all night.
Yuji squinted.
"…Why do you look like you haven't slept either?"
Takeru didn't look up.
"…Logistics required time."
Hakari slowly leaned forward.
"…No way."
Maki's eyes narrowed immediately.
"…What did you do."
Takeru raised his phone slightly.
"…Booked."
Silence.
Yuji blinked.
"…Booked what."
Takeru answered immediately.
"…Flights. Rooms. Transport."
Hakari shot up.
"…YOU DID NOT."
Takeru nodded once.
"…Confirmed."
Maki stepped forward sharply.
"…You cannot book international travel for a group of students."
Takeru tilted his head.
"…I already did."
Yuji grabbed his hair.
"…WHY DOES THAT EVEN WORK?!"
Gojo leaned over Takeru's shoulder.
"…Let me see."
Takeru showed the screen.
A full itinerary.
Flights to Malaysia.
Arrival times.
Room assignments.
Even activity slots labeled "training adaptation."
Gojo whistled.
"…Oh, this is actually well organized."
Maki immediately:
"…STOP PRAISING IT."
Hakari laughed.
"…He just casually built a vacation arc in one night."
Yuji pointed.
"…HOW DID YOU EVEN PAY FOR THIS?!"
Takeru blinked.
"…Card authorization was successful."
Silence again.
Maki slowly turned her head toward Gojo.
"…Tell me you didn't give him access to anything."
Gojo smiled.
"…I might've left my wallet unattended once."
Maki's soul visibly left her body for half a second.
"…I'm going to kill you."
Hakari wheezed.
"…GOJO GOT SCAMMED BY HIS OWN STUDENT."
Takeru continued calmly.
"…Room assignments optimized."
Yuji leaned in.
"…Please don't say what I think you're about to say."
Takeru looked up.
"…I will room with Gojo."
Silence.
Hakari immediately:
"…BRO SAID BROTHER PRIVILEGES."
Yuji shouted:
"…WHY IS THAT THE DEFAULT DECISION?!"
Maki stepped forward instantly.
"…Absolutely not."
Gojo raised a hand.
"…Actually—"
Maki snapped:
"…NO."
Gojo sighed.
"…Okay, fine."
Hakari grinned.
"…This is the most dysfunctional school trip I've ever seen."
Takeru nodded slightly.
"…Efficiency maintained."
Yuji muttered:
"…We are going to die in Malaysia."
And Takeru, still completely serious, added:
"…Departure confirmed."
