The cabin had shifted into that in-between phase.
Not quiet.
Not loud.
Just… people existing.
Music was playing low from Hakari's phone, passed around between seats.
Yuji was leaning over the aisle talking too loudly.
Maki was pretending not to listen.
Kirara was half-listening, half-judging.
Takeru sat back in his middle seat.
Relaxed.
Actually relaxed.
"…This is kinda fun."
Yuji grinned.
"…Told you!"
Hakari smirked.
"…Welcome to doing nothing."
Takeru looked between them.
Then—something clicked.
A small grin.
"…Wait."
That alone made everyone nervous.
Maki narrowed her eyes.
"…No."
Gojo didn't even turn from the window.
"…Yes."
Takeru leaned forward slightly.
"…Bro-jo."
Yuji immediately:
"…NO—"
Too late.
Takeru reached over and flicked Gojo's shoulder—hard.
THWACK
Gojo's head tilted slightly from the impact.
Not hurt.
Just… surprised.
Silence.
Then Takeru leaned back with a satisfied nod.
"…Bro-jo. Achievement complete."
A beat.
Hakari LOST it.
"…HE JUST NAMED IT LIKE A GAME ACHIEVEMENT—"
Yuji was crying laughing.
"…BRO-JO IS CRAZY—"
Maki turned away, covering her mouth slightly.
"…That's so stupid…"
Kirara shook their head.
"…I hate that I laughed."
Panda chuckled.
"…He finally snapped."
Gojo slowly turned his head.
Looked at Takeru.
Then—
smiled.
"…You're getting bold."
Takeru shrugged.
"…Teen mode."
Hakari pointed.
"…HE SAID IT HIMSELF—"
Yuji leaned over.
"…Nah, you're not allowed to go back after this."
Takeru grinned slightly.
"…Not planning to."
Gojo leaned back again.
"…Careful. I might flick back."
Takeru tilted his head.
"…Worth it."
Hakari clapped once.
"…That's the energy I'm talking about!"
Maki sighed, but there was a small smile there now.
"…Finally acting his age."
And just like that—
the flight got louder.
Dumber.
More chaotic.
Exactly how it was supposed to be.
