The room that Takeru and Gojo shared…
…was no longer a normal room.
Blankets were being dragged in.
Pillows thrown everywhere.
Furniture slightly—questionably—rearranged.
Yuji stood on the bed, holding up a blanket like a flag.
"…HIGHER! IT NEEDS TO DRAPE MORE!"
Hakari was trying to balance one side on a lamp.
"…If this falls, we're blaming you."
Megumi, somehow involved despite himself, held a corner.
"…This is structurally unsound."
Kirara adjusted a pillow wall.
"…It's a fort, not a building."
Inumaki:
"…Salmon."
(it's fine)
Gojo stood back, watching with amusement.
"…I leave for five minutes and you all redecorate."
Yuji pointed.
"…THIS IS IMPORTANT."
Hakari grinned.
"…Peak vacation activity."
Meanwhile—
In the kitchen.
Takeru stood in front of the counter.
Focused.
Serious.
"…Pizza in progress."
Dough stretched.
Sauce spread.
Toppings placed with surprising precision.
Panda stood next to him, carefully handling fries.
"…Oil temperature stable."
Yuta, on the other side, was delicately working on macaroons.
"…These are harder than they look…"
Takeru glanced over briefly.
"…You're doing fine."
Yuta smiled a little.
"…Thanks."
Back to Takeru—
Ice cream base being mixed.
"…Secondary dessert in progress."
Panda looked over.
"…You're making two things?"
Takeru nodded.
"…Yes."
Panda paused.
"…Respect."
Hakari poked his head into the kitchen.
"…Yo, fort's almost done—WHAT IS THAT SMELL—"
He walked in fully.
Eyes widened.
"…BRO YOU'RE COOKING FOR REAL—"
Yuji rushed in behind him.
"…NO WAY—IS THAT PIZZA?!"
Takeru didn't look up.
"…Yes."
Yuji grabbed the counter.
"…I'M NEVER LEAVING THIS TRIP."
Gojo leaned against the doorway.
"…Not bad."
Kirara walked in, arms crossed but clearly interested.
"…That actually looks good."
Megumi stepped in last.
"…Smells decent."
Inumaki:
"…Salmon…"
(really good)
Panda lifted the fries slightly.
"…Batch one ready soon."
Yuta carefully set down a tray.
"…Macaroons almost done."
Takeru placed the pizza into the oven.
Then stepped back.
"…All components progressing."
Hakari laughed.
"…You're STILL talking like that while cooking—"
Takeru paused.
Then—
a small grin.
"…It's fun though."
That shut everyone up for a second.
Yuji smiled.
"…Yeah."
A few minutes later—
Food everywhere.
Pizza sliced.
Fries stacked.
Macaroons plated.
Ice cream finished.
Drinks passed around.
They carried everything back into the room—
And stopped.
The fort was complete.
Blankets draped perfectly.
Pillows stacked like walls.
Lights dimmed just enough.
Yuji whispered:
"…It's beautiful…"
Hakari nodded.
"…We actually did it."
Gojo smiled.
"…Not bad at all."
Takeru stepped in first.
Set the food down inside the fort.
"…Operation successful."
Panda followed.
"…This is comfortable."
Kirara sat down.
"…Okay… this is nice."
Megumi sighed—but sat anyway.
"…I'm not admitting anything."
Yuta smiled softly.
"…This is really fun."
Inumaki:
"…Salmon."
Hakari flopped down.
"…Best idea ever."
Yuji grabbed a slice of pizza.
"…WE ARE NEVER LEAVING THIS FORT."
Takeru sat down in the middle.
Looking around.
Everyone there.
Food everywhere.
No stress.
No pressure.
Just them.
He smiled.
"…Yeah."
And for once—
nothing needed to be improved.
