The fort was quieter now.
Food half-finished. Pillows shifted. Everyone settled into that late-night calm where talking just… happens.
Takeru sat up suddenly.
Reached into his bag.
"…Alright."
He pulled it out.
The poster.
Yuji immediately groaned.
"…We were so close to ignoring that."
Hakari leaned forward anyway.
"…Nah, bring it here."
Panda shifted closer.
"…Back to work."
Yuta watched quietly.
Megumi didn't move—but his attention locked in.
Gojo leaned slightly, interested.
Takeru spread the poster out across the middle of the fort.
Careful.
"…Okay."
A pause.
"…So we can clearly see that it says my family tree."
Everyone nodded.
Takeru pointed at the first section.
"…And it says Z____n and Gojo and It___ri."
Yuji leaned in.
"…Yeah… those gaps…"
Takeru continued.
"…So it must be a last name. Clan maybe?"
Hakari nodded.
"…Sounds like it."
Panda added:
"…Jujutsu clans are usually structured like that."
Takeru tapped the "Gojo" section.
"…We already know me and Gojo are brothers. Duh."
Gojo smirked slightly.
"…Naturally."
Yuji pointed.
"…Yeah, that part's obvious now."
Takeru shifted his finger to the other two sections.
"…But who would the others be for the other sections?"
Silence.
Everyone stared at the smudged names.
Megumi's eyes narrowed slightly.
Yuta looked thoughtful.
Hakari leaned back a bit.
"…Z… something… n…"
Panda murmured:
"…Feels familiar."
Yuji snapped his fingers.
"…Wait—"
Then paused.
"…No… I don't have it."
Takeru stared at the letters.
Focused.
But not overthinking this time.
"…It's important."
Megumi spoke quietly:
"…If it's a clan… then it connects people."
Gojo finally spoke.
"…And if it connects you to multiple clans…"
A small pause.
"…That's not normal."
Yuji looked at Takeru.
"…You think someone made this?"
Takeru nodded.
"…Yes."
Hakari crossed his arms.
"…And smudged it on purpose."
Panda added:
"…Which means whoever made it didn't want it fully understood."
Yuta looked at the names again.
"…Or didn't want it getting out."
Silence settled again.
Takeru leaned back slightly.
Still staring at it.
"…Z____n…"
"…It___ri…"
Yuji sighed.
"…We're missing something obvious."
Megumi didn't answer.
But his expression said he was thinking hard.
Gojo watched quietly.
Not pushing.
Takeru finally exhaled.
"…We'll figure it out."
Hakari nodded.
"…Yeah."
Panda leaned back again.
"…Not tonight."
Yuji flopped back into the pillows.
"…Yeah… brain's fried."
Takeru looked down at the poster one more time.
Then folded it carefully.
Not solved.
Not yet.
But closer.
