Chapter 233 - Chapter 10: Equal Share

The atmosphere shifted the moment the points redistributed.

Not violently.

Not dramatically.

Just… decisively.

Kogane flickered into view again, spinning in place like it was excited by the administrative chaos.

"Point redistribution complete!"

A pause.

Each person's cursed energy signature subtly adjusted—like the system itself had acknowledged a new balance.

Ryu blinked once.

"…He actually did it."

Uro glanced at her own status.

"…Exactly one hundred."

Yuta exhaled quietly.

"…He standardized everyone."

Hakari laughed.

"…That's kind of insane."

Kirara shook their head slightly.

"…He just normalized the entire group's mobility inside the system."

Megumi looked at Takeru.

"…Why?"

Takeru answered immediately.

"I had 1100 points."

A beat.

"…That's why I did it."

Simple.

Direct.

Like it was obvious.

Yuji scratched the back of his head.

"…You just gave everyone equal points for that reason?"

Takeru nodded once.

"…Yes."

Hana looked down at her own updated count.

Then back up at him.

"…Even me?"

Takeru didn't hesitate.

"…Yes."

A brief silence followed.

Not confusion.

Not suspicion.

Just processing.

Then—

Takeru's tone shifted slightly.

More casual.

Less procedural.

"…Hey."

He looked around the group.

"…When we get outta here…"

A pause.

"…I'll buy us all a pizza each."

Hakari grinned immediately.

"…Now you're speaking my language."

Ryu smirked.

"…That's your reward system?"

Uro sighed.

"…Human incentives remain strange."

Yuta let out a small breath of amusement.

"…That's actually kind of grounding."

Megumi didn't react much—but his expression softened slightly.

Yuji smiled.

"…Pizza sounds good."

Hana blinked.

"…That's… oddly normal."

Takeru continued like it was part of the same thought.

"…You'll even be able to meet Gojo."

That landed differently.

Silence again—but heavier this time.

Yuji's eyes widened slightly.

"…We really can?"

Megumi looked away slightly.

"…If the seal holds…"

Yuta nodded once.

"…It's possible."

Hakari raised an eyebrow.

"…So that's the end goal, huh."

Kirara stayed quiet, watching the group's reactions carefully.

Ryu exhaled slowly.

"…Meeting the strongest sorcerer… yeah, that's worth it."

Uro didn't speak immediately.

But her gaze sharpened.

Kashimo, for once, didn't grin.

Just listened.

Hana looked at Takeru again.

Different now.

Less confusion.

More awareness.

Takeru stood still for a moment.

Then nodded once.

"…So we proceed."

No one disagreed.

Because now it wasn't just survival.

It was direction.

And for the first time since the Culling Game began—

it had one.
