Morning in the cabin started loudly.
Mostly because peace was illegal whenever Satoru Gojo was present.
Takeru had just woken up and was halfway through stretching when a thought hit him.
"…Wait so where is my go—"
From another room—
a scream.
"ANOTHER GOJO!?"
Utahime burst into the doorway pointing furiously.
Hair messy, eyes wild, blanket around her shoulders like battle armor.
"…WHY ARE THERE STILL EXTRA GOJOS!?"
Young Gojo immediately pointed at Takeru.
"…That one's imported."
Takeru pointed back.
"…That one's defective."
Geto sighed into one hand.
"…It's too early."
Haibara came running in excitedly.
"…Did someone say another Gojo!?"
Nanami followed slower.
"…Please say no."
Shoko, already awake somehow, took one look and sat down to enjoy the show.
Utahime stomped closer.
"…Explain. Right now."
Gojo grinned.
"…Simple. Time nonsense."
Takeru nodded.
"…Basically."
Geto looked at Takeru more seriously.
"…You were about to ask about your version of Satoru."
Takeru paused.
Then sat down.
Gojo and Geto joined him.
The room quieted.
Even Utahime listened despite herself.
Takeru exhaled.
"…Alright."
A pause.
"…My timeline gets messy."
Gojo leaned forward with interest.
"…Messy how?"
Takeru answered bluntly.
"…Geto gets evil."
Silence.
Haibara blinked.
"…Huh?"
Nanami's eyes narrowed slightly.
Shoko's expression became unreadable.
Utahime froze.
Young Geto stayed perfectly still.
Gojo's smile faded, but only a little.
"…Continue."
Takeru glanced at Geto.
Then spoke honestly.
"…You lose faith in people."
"…You start believing the weak drag the strong down."
"…You go down a bad road."
Geto didn't interrupt.
Didn't deny it.
Just listened.
Takeru continued.
"…Then in my time…"
A shrug.
"…I slap you back to your senses."
Utahime burst out laughing first.
"…You WHAT?"
Gojo immediately lost composure.
"…HAHAHAHA!"
He pointed at Geto.
"…You got corrected by my brother!"
Geto pinched the bridge of his nose.
"…I hate that this sounds possible."
Takeru nodded seriously.
"…It worked."
Haibara looked amazed.
"…Violence for emotional healing…"
Nanami muttered:
"…Please don't adopt that lesson."
Gojo wiped tears from laughing.
"…Anything else from the future?"
Takeru looked directly at him.
"…Yeah."
A beat.
"…I'm stronger than Gojo."
Silence.
Then immediate chaos.
"…NO YOU AREN'T!"
Gojo shot to his feet.
"…Yes I am."
Takeru remained seated.
"…PROVE IT!"
"…You're sixteen."
"…IRRELEVANT!"
Utahime was laughing harder than anyone now.
"…Finally! Someone worse happened to you!"
Shoko smirked.
"…This is healing."
Haibara cheered.
"…Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Nanami sighed.
"…Please don't."
Geto looked between them and smiled faintly.
"…Stronger or not…"
A pause.
"…You definitely belong here."
Takeru blinked once.
Then smirked.
"…Thanks."
Gojo pointed dramatically.
"…After breakfast we settle this."
Takeru stood.
"…You're buying breakfast then."
"…WHAT!?"
And the cabin descended into noise again.
But beneath it—
Geto sat quieter than before.
Thinking.
Because even impossible futures can change a person.
