Jay's pov:
I woke up and then I checked the time it was 8:00 I got up from my bed and go to the brush my teeth and take a bath
I go downstairs after changing my clothes mom and dad were already there mom noticed me first
She said " Good morning princess" wow after arranging my wedding with a stranger they have the audacity to think my morning is good
I replied " morning"
Dad said " Good morning jay "
I replied " morning dad "
Dad said " jay we are not forcing you but atleast see the boy maybe you will like him "
I said with a Lil sharp voice " what if I not "
I can sense dad's anger he said " jay behave it' s just a engagement and today is just the meeting"
I go to the kitchen eat breakfast only a little because who would be hungry after knowing that their dad is forcing them to a engagement just after school finishes.
I go to my room open my phone and open the form of the london University I want to go to I whispered to myself " I know I promised but know I don't have any hope left in me"
In evening
I wore a pretty and elegant blue dress ( I will give the dress in the comment section of both jay and keifer ) and go downstairs mom and dad were waiting for me
Mom said " Jay you are looking good in this dress"
I replied" thankyou" I didn't even gave a smile like who would if someone wants to cry ugh I don't want to go but I have to for my dad
Dad said " let's go jay behave properly " with a smile I just nodded we get seated in the car and after some minutes we reach our destination mom and dad got off the car I am feeling nervous what if they liked me then I will have no option other than agreeing to the engagement I don't want to but what else I can do

I got out of the car mom and dad walked beside each other I walked behind them then we met dad's bestfriend keizer watson
My dad greeted them like it's been years they haven't met him
My mom greeted aunty serina I only remember aunt serina from the watsons as she always used to give me chocolate and ice creams she used to take care me a lot
I greeted uncle keizer he greeted me back then I went to aunt serina I hug her " hi aunt serina long time" she replied " heyy jay how are you" we pull back from the hug

It was so normal I almost forget about the engagement untill my dad mentioned

Uncle replied: he will be coming in a few minutes he has just gone to meet one of his friends "
Amd they started talking about the engagement I know they will ask me something so I just make an excuse to go to the restroom

I go back to the hall after a minute and say the families standing there I go near them then I notice a man was also there the same one I talked a minute ago or avoid a minute ago he was greeting my parents with a smile
No way he was looking to fine he was there like he belonged the place too confident too fine.
I go there and that's when aunt serina said " jay meet my son keifer " while pointing towards the man he looked at me I looked at him are eyes met.
He suddenly extended his hand and said " good evening myself mark keifer watson" I replied with a handshake " jasper jean mariano " we both neither smiled neither looked pleased it was like we were a rival
