A boy threw his pencil in angry, yelling, "It's useless now- It's broken!" His teacher quietly picked it up, sharpened it again, and handed it back. She said, ''Look... it still writes beautifully. Just because it's broken doesn't means it's useless." The boy looked at the pencil.... then at himself. He had been struggling, failing, feeling like a disappointment. Then she added, "You are like this pencil. Life may break you.... but that doesn't mean you've lost your worth. Sometimes, all you need is to be sharpened." Tears filled his eyes. From that day forward, he stopped giving up so easily. Moral : No matter how broken you feel, your value remains. You still have purpose. Just never stop trying.
