Chapter 15 - You're who?

Dee and Callum were walking home while talking to each other.

"So, what are your plans for the break?" Callum asked.

"Nothing really," Dee said, and she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm just gonna stay home for the most time."

"That's a bummer. I was hoping to invite you to some festivals."

"Really?.."

"Yeah. But, if you aren't gonna-"

"No! No! I'm free to go." Dee cut him off.

"Awesome. See you next week."

"Okay. See ya'!" Dee said, and walked towards her home.

While she was walking home, Ursa appeared on her head.

"Are you okay?" they asked.

"Totally…" Dee said.

Ursa looked a bit shocked at Dee's happy mood. "How are you over her so quickly?"

"Over who?"

Ursa shook their head. "Nothing."

"You ask if I'm alright, but you don't seem that okay either." Dee stated.

"Look, all I'm saying is that your mood changed too quickly…" Ursa explained.

As Dee walked into her home, she stopped in her room when she saw a bright portal in the middle of her room.

"Woah… are you seeing what I'm seeing?" she asked.

"Yeah…" Ursa nodded. "It's not a dark one…"

"So… shouldI enter?"

"Maybe. But I'm going with you." Ursa said.

Dee closed the door to her room, and she slowly went inside the portal. And the place she saw was exactly the same as the one in her dream a few nights ago.

"Welcome back, both of you."

Dee immediately looked up, and she saw the same woman from her dream.

"Y-you…" Ursa muttered with a shaking voice. "But that's impossible, you-"

"You know her?!" Dee cut her off. "Who is she?" she asked.

"My name is… Hecate."

"That answers one thing." Dee stated.

"I was the Major Guardian of Balance once in my life. Before you." Hecate explained.

"But why am I here?" Dee questioned.

"Because… You and I are… connected."

Dee looked confused. "'How so?"

"Hecate, please! You can't tell her!" Cried out Ursa.

"We will have to one day." Hecate said, as she flew closer to Dee, and touched her cheeks. "I am your older sister…"

"My what?.." Dee's eyes widened. She wanted to take a step back, but she was frozen with shock. "But… I only have a little brother…"

"I know, mom and dad never told you anything because they wanted to protect you," Hecate clarified. Shaking her head, she sighed. "The reason they never told you is because I changed everyone's past memories of me."

"You can do that?"

"Only once. I didn't want anyone to find out about the Guardians, or the other dimensions. So that is why our parents believe that I left the living world because of an accident…"

"O-other… other dimensions?" asked Dee.

"There are countless of those,"

Hecate started to conjure up some stars and a dark sky. It also showed many planets.

"Woah…" Dee's jaw dropped at the sight.

"Exactly. The one in the middle is the sun of the dimension us Guardians come from," Hecate smiled slightly at Dee. "And that big planet is the Capital Kingdom, it's called the Land of Marra. But believe it or not, the current Queen is called Xénia."

"It's beautiful…" Dee mumbled, then looked at Ursa. "Is that where you come from?"

"Yes. But I'm not from that planet, I'm from the planet next to it." Ursa pointed at a planet which was slightly smaller than the Capital. "Mine is the Capital's biggest Ally."

Dee mouthed a "wow" in silence, her eyes sparkled.

"But… it's all falling apart…" Ursa sadly said, and shook their head.

"Wait, what?"

Hecate nodded her head in sadness too. "There is a man who is trying to take over our dimension. And he is succeeding…"

"And… I'm guessing I will have to get my friends to save the place?" Dee looked down.

"No," Hecate held Dee's chin softly to make her look up. "Not yet at least. You still have to defeat Queen Amentia."

"But she hasn't even been attacking!"

"We know…" Ursa said.

"But for now, sit down, and let's talk," Hecate began.

Dee held up a finger to stop her. "Uhm… no thanks?.. I need time to process all of this!"

"Please, I have waited thirteen years to meet you again." Hecate desperately said.

Dee looked down again, then back at Hecate. "Fine…"
