Liam hadn't texted Jane for the whole week. He was busy planning a surprise for her. Jane didn't know and she thought he was ghosting her until a message popped up on her phone:
Liam: Come to this address I have a surprise for you đ.
Curious Jane gets in her car going to the exact location Liam sent her she stops in front of a house it was a small house it looked almost vintage. Jane knocked on the door. After a moment the door opened but there was no one there she went in her agent instincts kicking in.Â
Jane: Hello?
The room was dark then suddenly the lights flickered on and Jane saw it Liam standing there face flushed red looking adorable holding a cake in his hands.
Liam: H-happy Birthday!
Jane: You did this for me?
Liam: Yeah I uh wanted to do something special uhh happy 23rd birthday.
Jane: Thanks.
Liam set the cake on the counter and walked over to Jane pulling her down on the couch when Jane was seated in the couch Liam put his head on her chest wrapping his arms around her.
Jane: What are you doing?!
Liam: Th-this is my present I didn't know what to get you.
Liam's face was scarlet now but even then he buried his face deeper in Jane's chest. Jane's hands run through his hair. Liam leans into the touch her warmth enveloping around him.
Liam: Th-this is nice.
Jane: Yeah it is.
Jane and Liam stayed like that all night. Both of them dozed off while talking but Jane's hand was still tangled in Liam's hair while Liam's face was still in her chest. Before falling asleep Jane whispered one word so soft you couldn't hear it if you blinked.
Jane: Mine.
But Liam? His arms tighten unconsciously around you as if even in sleep he could hear you.
