When Yerin realised, the screen had changed from a blue color to all pink. Yerin was thrilled and pleased by the pink color, since pink was secretly her favourite color.
Barely containing her excitement inside, Yerin grinned at the pink display, decorated with unicorns.

Yerin was already imagining herself as a hero of mankind who saved the world from bad monsters. Everyone would praise her for being strong and kind. They would request her for autographs and give her lots of sweets as thanks for saving them.
'Sounds good!' Yerin was very motivated.
The system chimed with a ping.

'Family?' Yerin had been living in this orphanage since she could remember. The only family she had were the sisters and brothers and her teachers from the orphanage. But they were not real family. Yerin was fired up. She had to meet her real family! Yerin slipped out of the orphanage when the teachers weren't looking and followed the map description to the S-Rank gate.
Soon, she arrived at an ominous-looking black hole where hell was breaking loose. Policemen were blocking the black hole, and dozens of hunters were lingering around the black gate.
"What are you doing here?" A hunter was speaking to Yerin.
Yerin smiled proudly. "I came here to take out the monsters." She expected the hunter to cheer and lead her to the S-Rank gate. But despite her expectation, the hunter facepalmed and shuddered.
"Child, the monsters in the gate are twenty times bigger than you and ten times scarier than the scariest ghosts you know. They will gobble you up, so get away from here quickly."
Yerin pursed her lips. As a strong hunter, she wasn't scared of monsters! "I am not going away. I came here to help."
The hunter grew impatient. There was no time to waste. He picked the child up and carried her to a nearby ice shop. "Be good and buy ice cream with this money," the hunter said, handing her several coins.
Yerin's eyes lit up. She could buy a lot of ice cream with this money! "Alright." Yerin nodded. "Thank you, uncle!"
The hunter waved and rushed back to the gate. Yerin turned to inspect the selection of ice cream.
Strawberry, chocolate, lemon, blueberry, cookies… Her mouth watered at the sight of the colorful ice cream.
Just then, the pink system reminded Yerin of her quest.
[Superior hunter, let's save people! Become a hero and find your family!]
Yerin regained her senses. 'Right! The quest was more important.'
