One bright morning, the royal city was full of life. Merchants were selling fruits and vegetables, children were laughing, and musicians were playing cheerful tunes. The prince and princess decided to visit the market to meet the people and see how everyone was living.
As they walked through the busy streets, the princess suddenly heard a soft cry. She stopped and looked around carefully. Near a small shop, a little boy was sitting alone, wiping tears from his eyes.
The princess gently walked toward him and asked kindly,
"Why are you crying, little one? Where are your parents?"
The boy looked up with watery eyes and said,
"I came to the market with my mother, but I got lost in the crowd. I cannot find her anywhere."
The prince felt concerned and placed a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder.
The prince immediately called the palace guards and said,
"We must help this child find his mother quickly."
The guards began searching in different directions. The princess stayed with the boy, offering him water and warm food to calm him down. She spoke softly to make him feel safe.
Soon, the prince asked the shopkeepers and villagers if they had seen a worried woman searching for a child. Many people joined the search, showing their kindness and teamwork.
The entire market became united with one goal—to reunite the child with his mother.
After some time, a woman came running through the crowd, calling the boy's name loudly. Her face was filled with worry and tears.
The moment the boy saw her, he jumped up and shouted,
"Mother!"
They ran toward each other and hugged tightly. The woman thanked the prince and princess again and again.
"You have given me back my child," she said gratefully. "I will never forget your kindness."
The princess smiled warmly and replied,
"A kingdom is strong when its people care for one another."
After returning to the palace, the prince and princess discussed what had happened. They realized that many children could get lost in crowded places like markets and festivals.
So they decided to create a new rule. They ordered the building of help centers in busy areas, where lost children and families could find assistance quickly. Guards were trained to guide people and keep everyone safe.
The king praised their thoughtful decision and said,
"You always think about the safety and happiness of our people."
In the following days, the new help centers made the kingdom safer. Parents felt more relaxed, and children could play freely without fear.
One evening, as the sun set and the sky turned golden, the prince and princess walked together in the royal garden. Birds were singing softly, and the air felt peaceful.
The princess looked at the prince and said,
"Sometimes even small acts of kindness can make a big difference."
The prince nodded and replied,
"Yes, caring for others is the true duty of a ruler."
They smiled at each other, knowing that their love and compassion would keep the kingdom safe and happy for many years to come
