Jayjay's Pov:
I was going to walk towards Aries when Keifer suddenly signaled me with his eyes to look over at Ci-N. What is that brat talking about with Felix? Are they planning something? Well, why do I care? But... what if they are thinking of doing something?
"FINALLY, OUR PARENTS GOT TOGETHER! WOHOOOOO!" the brat yelled at the top of his lungs.
Wait, what did he just say? Parents?
"SECTION E'S PARENTS ARE TOGETHER NOW!" Felix added, joining in on the shouting.
Why the hell are these two saying "parents"?
"Hoi! Who are Section E's parents?" I asked, completely confused.
"You two!" they both answered innocently.
I heard everyone laughing now, and even the King was laughing along with them.
"Let's say our ship name!" Ci-N shouted.
Me and Keifer were standing there looking like total fools. The group giggled and suddenly started yelling in unison:
"JAYFER! JAYFER! JAYFER! JAYFER! JAYFER!" Keifer started laughing so loudly. My boyfriend is so handsome—not like Mica's, Ella's, or Freya's boyfriends. Oh wait, Freya doesn't even have a boyfriend!
Hoi, Jay! You have to ask Aries why he allowed this relationship. But why do I have to ask? He's happy, isn't that enough? No, no... what if this is one of Ella's schemes?
I walked towards Aries and asked him how he finally allowed this relationship to happen.
"Yuri told me everything—how Keifer can comfort you when you see blood, but I can't. So I allowed it, and you love him now. And lastly, it's your life; you have the right to choose," he said while smiling.
I smiled back at him, feeling so relieved. But then, my eyes landed on Freya. Wait—she didn't like me before, so how is she suddenly so happy for me now? I walked towards her to find out.
"Didn't you think that I was your enemy?" I asked. "So how are you happy for me now?"
"Because of the boxes that you have been giving me, and now I know that someone truly loves me," she said.
"Ohhhh," was the only thing that came out of my mouth.
"By the way, who is he?" she asked.
I swallowed hard. I hadn't told Edrix yet that me and Rory were the ones behind those boxes, and to make it more awkward, Percy was right here! I walked towards Percy and looked at him.
"Do you like Freya now?"
"Well, no. I think it's Honey now," he said.
THAT HONEY.
Well, it's not my life, so I'll just let him be. At least he finally moved on from the "Canvas"—oh, I mean Freya. I turned to Edrix next.
"Do you truly love Freya?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course," he said. "But why?"
I didn't bother to answer him. I just turned around and went right into the middle of the chaos. Now I'm getting nervous because I can feel everyone's eyes locked onto me.
"What happened, Jay?" Felix asked.
"I want to reveal a secret lover," I announced to the group.
"The lover who loves Freya truly... and he is..."
"Hurry up, Jay!"
"Jay, we are being impatient!"
"Who is it, Jay?"
All of them spoke at once. I took a deep breath and let it rip.
"IT'S EDRIX KNIGHT!" I shouted.
The entire area went dead silent for exactly two seconds. Then, it exploded.
"WHAT?!" "EDRIX?!" "THE COLD KNIGHT IS THE SECRET LOVER?!"
Everyone's heads snapped toward Edrix at the same time. I've never seen someone turn that shade of red before—he looked like a human tomato. He was frozen, his mouth slightly open, looking at me like I had just set his house on fire.
"Jayjay... what did you just say?" Edrix whispered, his voice cracking.
"I said what I said! You love Freya!" I shouted back, feeling a surge of adrenaline.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Ella jumped in, her eyes sparkling with drama. "So those secret boxes... the notes... the effort... that was all EDRIX?"
"Yes!" I pointed at him. "He's been a softie this whole time!"
The boys started howling. Felix and Ci-N were rolling on the ground laughing, while Mica was just staring at Edrix in pure shock.
"Edrix, you traitor! You were acting all cool while writing love letters?" Felix teased, poking Edrix's shoulder.
"Shut up, Felix!" Edrix hissed, finally finding his voice. He tried to pull his hoodie over his face, but it was too late.
I looked over at Freya. She hadn't said a word. She was just standing there, her eyes wide, looking at Edrix like she was seeing him for the first time.
"Edrix... is it true?" Freya asked softly.
The chaos died down instantly. Everyone leaned in, waiting for his answer. The silence was so heavy you could hear a leaf drop. Edrix looked at the ground, then at me, and finally at Freya.
"I love you, Freya, but I was afraid of courting you," Edrix said, his eyes finally fixed on her.
"But why? Why were you afraid, and who were you afraid of?" Freya asked.
"I was afraid that you might not accept me because I'm from Section E."
I was also thinking that what Edrix said was true—it's a hard wall to climb.
"No, I wouldn't. And I love you too," Freya said, making us all shock.
FREYA HIDALGO HAS SAID "I LOVE YOU" TO A SECTION E BOY! This was the first time she ever said those words to anyone.
Ok Jay, just let them be happy.
"Hoi, you two! Go to the other side of the park! You two are making me feel single!" Felix said, and we all laughed.
Then suddenly, I noticed a girl with long red hair. She looked Japanese. Is she... THAT JAPANESE GIRL.
She was the one who was always by Yuri's side—the one who stood with him at Ma'am Cindy and Sir Alvin's house, and the one who survived the fire at his place.
"Wait... it's her! The girl from Yuri's house!" I whispered, my heart starting to race as the memories flooded back.
She looked around the park with a sharp, calm gaze, her long red hair catching the light as she stepped forward.
"What is your name and why are you here?" I asked her.
She pointed at Yuri and said, "Because of him."
"Yuri?" I asked in confusion and asked again, "But why?"
"Ask him."
"Umm... Jay, it's like..." he came to me and whispered something that froze me in my spot. "I like her."
Yuri likes her! I pulled Yuri by the arm and signaled that girl to come here. When she came I asked her, "Do you like Yuri?"
She nodded, and that nod was enough.
"Ok guys, I have another announcement!" I said, and they all started looking at me.
"What, Jay?"
"What is it now?"
"Jay, hurry up!"
They all were shouting again at the same time when I noticed Honey was also here, and she was upset—I think because of Percy.
"Honey, you come here too! And Percy, you too!" I shouted. They both pointed at themselves like asking "us?" and I nodded. They start walking towards me, that red-haired girl, and Yuri.
When they came I spoke again.
"Ok, ok! We have 2 more couples here that love each other but never said it!"
"Who?"
"Who are they?"
"Jay, why are you making so much suspense?"
"It's Yuri and this girl!" I said and raised their arms. "Who is the other one?" Felix asked.
"It's Honey and Percy!" The Section E boys went absolutely wild. "NO WAY!" Felix screamed, tripping over his own feet. "THREE COUPLES IN TEN MINUTES? MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS!"
"EYYYY PERCY! FINALLY!" Ci-N cheered, jumping on Percy's back.
"Yuri, you silent killer!" Mica yelled, laughing as Yuri turned bright red. Everyone was whistling and clapping, the park becoming a total mess of cheering and shouting.
"Jayjay, you are a menace!" Keifer whispered in my ear, chuckling.
"Hey, I'm just helping love grow!" I joked, though my heart was still pounding.
But then, the atmosphere shifted. Angelo—who had been quiet this whole time—stepped forward. His face was unreadable.
"Enough with the love stories," Angelo said, his voice cold.
The laughter stopped. We all remembered why we were really there. The "Ion" name was still hanging in the air like a dark cloud.
"We have work to do," Angelo continued, looking straight at Keifer. "If she's really coming back, then 'together' isn't just a ship name. It's a survival tactic."
