Chapter 170 - Chapter 170: True Moon Appears!

While the King of Conquerors stood there laughing foolishly after realizing he had overthought things...

Altrouge took the opportunity to size up Rin, the one who could keep the White Beast as a pet.

Similarly, Rin curiously observed this uninvited enemy, and both sides fell into a strange silence.

Just as no one knew how to break the silence, a light gate opened between them, and Zelretch, having received the news, stepped out of it.

Upon arriving, Zelretch first signaled for the surrounding Dead Apostles to disperse, then walked over to Altrouge and spoke.

"Altrouge, in what capacity do you appear at the Millennium Castle now?"

Facing Zelretch's inquiry, the Black and White Knights exchanged glances and simultaneously prepared for battle.

"I'm not here to be your enemy anyway. Can you let me talk to her alone?"

After saying that, Altrouge pointed at Rin.

Arcueid, who already disliked Altrouge, heard that she intended to talk privately with their important ally Rin and immediately rushed in front of Altrouge, glaring at her huffily and objecting loudly.

"No! Absolutely not! Who knows what you're planning?"

Then Arcueid darted to Rin's side and grabbed her arm, acting spoiled towards her.

"Hey, hey! Rin, you wouldn't want to have a private talk with this person either, right?"

Rin, who wasn't that familiar with Arcueid yet, uncomfortably pulled her arm out of Arcueid's embrace and nodded.

"If you have something to say, just say it right here."

Altrouge curled her lip in annoyance, gave Arcueid—who was making a face at her—a sharp glare, and spoke.

"Fine, I'll be direct then! I want to know who exactly is behind that fellow Lev. Ever since he found us to help revive the Six Authorities together, I've had a faint feeling that the Six Authorities fellow is very abnormal, and recent signs have shown that he's plotting something."

"Lev? I'm not very clear on who is behind him either, only that it's someone named Goetia, likely one of Solomon's Seventy-Two Demon Gods!"

Hearing Rin's answer, Zelretch helplessly slapped his forehead. Having seen similar timelines in parallel worlds, Zelretch was speechless at the answer Rin gave.

"Rin! Do you really not know?"

At Zelretch's question, Rin, who only knew bits from her past life about the culprit of the Incineration of Human Order being related to Solomon and the Seventy-Two Demon Gods, turned her head and nodded seriously.

"Rin, I didn't expect you not to know! Then let me tell you. You know about the Beast Rank, right?"

Rin nodded. Although she hadn't finished playing Chapter 7 in her past life, she still knew about the existence of the Beast Rank through online information, and she had even fought against Beast 666, so how could she not know?

"It's good that you know. The culprit of the Incineration of Human Order is Goetia, representing the Beast Rank of Pity and the current leader of the Seventy-Two Demon Gods. He should be the one behind Lev."

Altrouge nodded at the answer. Although she didn't know what the Incineration of Human Order was, it didn't stop her from remembering the name Goetia.

"Rin! I can call you that, right?"

At Altrouge's question, Rin nodded in agreement to the familiar way she was being addressed.

"As far as I know, you're not from this time and space, right?"

"Theoretically, you could say that."

"Then you intend to deal with Goetia, don't you?"

"Yes."

Altrouge looked at Fou in Rin's arms, then clenched her fist and made a certain decision, speaking to Rin with a solemn expression.

"Then what do you think of my combat power? If you can agree to one condition, I'll join your side and deal with Goetia with you! What do you think? Fina and Rizo-Waal will join too!"

Hearing Altrouge's words, Rin looked at the 14-year-old girl before her in great shock. As a True Ancestor, though Rin didn't know exactly how strong Altrouge was, she surely wouldn't be weaker than an average Servant. Even a weakling like Akuta Hina was not to be underestimated in combat due to her insane immortality, let alone Altrouge bringing the Black and White Knights to join Chaldea.

Rin was tempted; her only concern now was the condition Altrouge mentioned.

"What is your condition?"

"Resurrect my Father King! Or send me to a world where he exists! I'm sure you can do it, right?"

Hearing the condition Altrouge proposed, Arcueid rushed in front of Rin and blocked the space between her and Altrouge, shouting.

"No!"

At this point, Zelretch also nodded in agreement. Having personally experienced the era when True Moon descended upon the earth, Zelretch naturally knew of True Moon's power. Facing Altrouge's condition, Zelretch also joined the opposing side.

"Rin, if True Moon were to obtain your technology for traversing timelines, it wouldn't just be Altrouge providing information, then..."

"Then what? Zelretch, I remember you weren't the type of annoying person who talks behind people's backs."

Zelretch's face instantly turned cold, and magical energy erupted from him. He held the jewel sword in one hand and a book-like Mystic Code in the other, warily watching Arcueid, whose hair had suddenly grown long again.

"True Moon Brunestud!"

Arcueid—or rather, True Moon—slowly turned around and glanced at the tense Zelretch.

"You've grown weak, Zelretch!"

Altrouge looked at the suddenly appearing Father King with joy. She pinched herself, unable to believe it, fearing it was some hallucination or dream, and then knelt by True Moon's side with the Black and White Knights.

"Father King!"

"My King!" X2

True Moon pulled up the kneeling Altrouge and rubbed her head.

"Altrouge, I've seen everything you've done over the years. You've worked hard!"

Then True Moon turned and signaled for the kneeling Black and White Knights to rise.

"You two, thank you for taking care of Altrouge all these years."

"My King, protecting the Eldest Princess is our duty!" X2

True Moon turned that face—which was clearly Arcueid's but felt completely different—toward Rin and spoke.

"I don't have much time, so I'll keep it short! Rin Tohsaka, I want to make a deal with you."

Looking at True Moon's charming face and figure, Rin swallowed hard, suppressed her inner desire and greed, and said to True Moon.

"Please, go ahead!"

True Moon pointed at the King of Conquerors, who seemed casual but was actually extremely alert.

"He's a Heroic Spirit, isn't he? That means you have a way to obtain Heroic Spirits from gaia and your own Throne of Heroes, right?"

"Yes."

"Then, I wonder if you'd be willing to let someone like me, who has lost their body and is homeless, join and become a Heroic Spirit?"
