Chapter 211 - Chapter 213: Jalter and Black Saber!

By the Seine River, Paris, the city known as the capital of art, fashion, culture, romance, and the City of Flowers, was situated here.

However, Paris, still in the Middle Ages, was far from deserving those laudatory titles of later generations, especially under the rule of the Dragon Queen; the city of Paris had practically become a dragon's nest.

Countless Wyverns, large and small, pushed down city walls and destroyed houses, using those stones to erect one dragon's nest after another around the royal palace of Paris. At the same time, an endless army of zombies brought one animal carcass after another here and threw them into the Seine River, which flowed with jet-black river water.

Then, amidst a series of eerie bubbles, one newborn Wyvern after another flew out of the Seine, starting to fight for nests with the Wyverns outside the royal palace. The losers naturally became the rations for other Wyverns that were eyeing them covetously.

This production line, resembling a hellish demon's den, had never stopped since the Dragon Queen ruled this country, producing Wyverns day after day to fight for the Dragon Queen.

In the royal palace garden, Vlad III was appreciating a group of zombie soldiers struggling to carry a Wyvern carcass, feeding it to those legendary, famous great dragons in the garden. The sight of those great dragons fighting for food made Vlad III swallow his saliva involuntarily.

Jalter, sitting in the garden pavilion, nodded with satisfaction at Vlad III's state, her expression carrying a hint of appreciation. After all, for a hungry vampire to be able to endure to such a degree for her was truly worthy of Jalter's appreciation.

However, Black Saber, who was sitting opposite Jalter and devouring a dragon meat burger, scoffed at this. If anyone were to bravely ask this Evil Queen who ruled Britain, Black Saber's answer would be nothing more than "weakling." Of course, it was more likely that the unlucky person who dared to disturb Black Saber's meal would be cleaved to death by Black Saber's sword.

"Hey! Cold-Blooded Woman, haven't you solved your side yet? I can already feel that our old rivals have come!"

Black Saber hastily squeezed the burger in her hand into a ball, stuffed it into her mouth, and swallowed it quickly. At the same time, she wiped her meat-juice-stained hands on Gilles's outer robe, ignoring Gilles's ugly expression.

"Assault Girl, that old hag is not so easy to deal with, and I always feel that there is someone behind the old hag helping her!"

Jalter curled her lips in displeasure, but this dissatisfaction was not directed at Black Saber. Although Jalter kept calling Black Saber "Cold-Blooded Woman," Jalter actually understood that Black Saber was not cold-blooded at all. Otherwise, why would Black Saber keep her promise to come to this Singularity to rule Britain and help her destroy France? After all, for Black Saber, these actions neither helped her obtain stronger power nor wasted her eating time.

Gilles, on the side, took a step forward with a pained expression, came to Jalter's side, and spoke.

"Leave Jeanne to me! I will deal with those remnants of the gods for you!"

Jalter and Black Saber looked at each other and nodded at Gilles at the same time.

"Then it's left to you. In any case, do not let those guys and that stinking woman who plays with snakes from Egypt interfere with the war between the Cold-Blooded Woman and the old hag!"

"Yes!"

Gilles saluted Jalter joyfully, then walked briskly out of the royal palace, while constantly muttering.

"Gods, wait for me to offer you a hymn!"

Jalter watched Gilles's back and waved at Vlad III and Carmilla, who were standing not far away, saying.

"You guys go help Gilles too! This time you can drink blood to your heart's content!"

Vlad III and Carmilla looked at each other with joy, saluted Jalter gratefully, and then hurried to catch up with the departing Gilles. Judging from the joyful expressions on their faces, Vlad III and Carmilla seemed to have been pent up for a long time!

After everyone left the garden, Black Saber spat at their backs in displeasure.

"Disgusting fellow!"

Jalter hugged Black Saber from behind, resting her chin on Black Saber's pauldron with a playful expression, and teased.

"Cold-Blooded Woman, I didn't expect you to have such a fun expression!"

Black Saber shrugged, bumping Jalter's chin away, then gently pushed her aside. She pulled out an eerie Holy Grail emitting a dark purple light from her body and tossed it onto the table like trash.

"Assault Girl, the Holy Grail is back to you. The zombie army I created for you should last a while. I'm going back!"

Jalter picked up the Holy Grail from the table with a look of regret and placed it inside herself, then waved her battle flag as her magical energy erupted.

As Jalter waved her flag, a pitch-black gate appeared out of thin air.

Black Saber walked to the gate. Just as she was about to step in, she stopped and turned to Jalter.

"By the way, those guys under Gil used the army to capture many living people without your knowledge. Be careful, Assault Girl. I don't want to hear news of your death next time."

With that, Black Saber walked into the gate without looking back. As she entered, the pitch-black gate vanished into thin air.

Jalter looked at the vanishing gate and muttered with a smile.

"Such a tsundere, but thanks, Cold-Blooded Woman!"

Looking at the empty garden, Jalter walked somewhat lonely to the feeding dragons and reached out to pet them.

"Gil, what exactly are you planning?"

Pyrenees Mountains, the last fortress of the French Army.

Queen Marie was enthusiastically leading Jeanne and Reines on a tour of the fortress, accompanied by a group of French generals.

Unlike Queen Marie, the French generals were vigilant, hands resting on their weapons. They instinctively kept themselves between Queen Marie and Jeanne and Reines. Given that the entire French royal family had been killed, leaving only Queen Marie, their behavior was understandable.

Understanding aside, Reines, feeling unwelcome along with Jeanne, only wanted to get information about the Singularity from the French. As a Briton, Reines had no special feelings for the French anyway. Seizing a gap between the walking generals, she quickly moved to Queen Marie's side.

"Queen Marie! Could you tell us about this world? My companions are still waiting!"

Queen Marie smiled and waved her hand to comfort the nervous generals, then shook her head at Reines.

"I'm sorry! While I believe Lady Jeanne is like Marshal Gil, having two individuals, I don't know anything about the Chaldea you mentioned, so I cannot give you information."

After saying this, Queen Marie looked at Reines, who was about to speak. Knowing the two wouldn't stay long without achieving their goal, she spoke sincerely before Reines or Jeanne could.

"However, if you are willing to be guests, you are most welcome to visit anytime!"

Hearing this, Reines and Jeanne could only exchange helpless glances. After bidding farewell to Queen Marie, they turned and left the French fortress.
