As Tiy sat on top of the hollow corpse, she felt the blood that was leaking out of her side, causing her head to quickly grow light, and her consciousness faded in and out until a hand reached out and held her up.
It was Exo who ran over when he saw the fight start through the eyes of his ladybug. He held Tiy up and covered the wound with a bandage that was brought from Grassciair, and blood quickly absorbed into it, but it seemed to keep the wound at bay for now.
He helped her up and placed her arm around his shoulder to carry her.
"Tiy don't pass out now. We are heading to the guy you were with, as it seems his fight is over."
Meanwhile, Isaac had just turned around and began walking away from the man whom he had thrown into the water. As Isaac walked deeper into the forest, a swarm of bugs made a wall cutting him off from walking.
Isaac stopped walking and considered using a fire spell to kill the bug, but then they moved to spell out the name 'The Hollow Dame,' which Isaac did not know the meaning of because Tiy had never told him her Title.
It seems the bugs noticed his confusion and moved to spell the name 'Tiy', which Isaac nodded at before shrugging. The only reason he was still conversing with these bugs was because he did not have enough mana to kill them all.
The bugs made an arrow pointing in the direction of both Tiy and Exo, then started scuttling in that direction. Isaac did not know what the bugs wanted him to do, but he decided to follow them since they seemed to be controlled by someone, since the swarm was made up of many different bugs, which would normally eat each other.
The bug started moving very fast, almost so fast that Isaac could not keep up, but after half an hour, Isaac and the bugs bumped into Tiy, and Exo, who was now using millions of bugs to carry her, so they could find each other faster.
Isaac immediately saw Tiy, who seemed to be bleeding a lot due to bumps caused by the bugs. Isaac stepped back and began casting a spell, but was cut off when hundreds of bugs crawled up his body, and were about to start crawling inside him, but then Exo spoke.
"Calm down, we are on the same side. Tiy over here got into a fight while trying to come and help you, and got a really bad stab wound."
Isaac gave Exo a sceptical look before he flicked a few bugs off him, which seemed to be a sign, as all the bugs crawled off him. Isaac walked over to Tiy's side and unwrapped the wound.
The wound had turned red with pus leaking from it, red streaks shot out from the wound, and Tiy had a fever that would be able to burn someone. Isaac picked her up and moved her to a flat piece of ground.
"You weren't kidding when you said she had a really bad stab. Anyway, I can try to fix this, but I want both you and your bugs to be away from us, they give me the creeps." Isaac spoke with distrust that practically flowed from his mouth.
Exo walked back while he took his bugs with him, and sat under a tree while watching Isaac. Isaac opened one of his bags and brought out some star plants, and began placing them on the wound after clearing away the pus.
Isaac knew that this wasn't going to help much, but it gave him time to think about what word would give the best spell.
'I could use a spell like stitch, or repair, but that won't get rid of the infection. Something like cure would be too weak since it's too broad. If I knew what type of infection this is, then I could do something like Cure, and then the name of the infection, but since I am going in blind, then I should prioritise getting her conscious first.'
Isaac reached for her head and casted a spell 'cool'. While cool was not the best spell for getting something cold, it was the best at lowering the temperature. He then turned his focus to the wound, and he reprimanded himself for not taking biology in school to make his life easier.
The infection seemed to have slowed to a snail's pace, which was an improvement but was not the best. He signed for Exo to come back over and then spoke.
"To be honest, there is not much I can do right now, for a few reasons, with the main being a lack of information on the infection. I think it would be for the best if we head back to where I am staying, and we work there."
Exo nodded along, not really understanding, but was acting as he did. The bugs picked Tiy back up and began carrying her to the cave, where both Isaac and Tiy had stayed. Along the way, Isaac would check on Tiy and perform some magic to keep the infection at bay for now.
By the time they arrived, it was a little bit past six in the afternoon. When they walked in, Tiy was placed down by where the fire would normally be, and Exo was sitting inside the cave watching Isaac work on Tiy.
Isaac ate a few mana berries and began working again, but not in a way that Anyone expected. Since Isaac did not know how to cure this infection, his only hope was to mess around and find out. He started by drawing a circle around Tiy and began writing inside it.
Isaac was trying to make a circle similar to the one he used on Tiy, which focuses on one person instead of a whole area. Since Circle magic used sentences written down inside the circle, he used 'Cure all within your grasp'.
The spell can be broken down into three parts: 'cure', 'your', and 'grasp.' The first part would be the effect of the circle, while the second was the target, and the third was the way of using the spell.
The spell's intended result would be to cure anyone inside the circle, but since cure does not hold enough meaning on its own, he would only be able to use circle magic, which would make it stronger by using more mana.
Once the circle was done, Isaac began making his mana flow into it, while eating the berries nonstop, but that was still not enough to even make the circle start to work.
Isaac shouted with all his strength.
"Bug boy, get your ass over here and help me infuse mana! Hell, even use your bug! If you want Tiy to live, then you will do it, damn it!"
Exo was taken aback before doing as he was told with a grin on his face. As Exo placed his hands on the circle, it began to glow a warm green, and soon the bugs joined them, draining all the mana in their bodies and dying to power the circle.
After what felt like hours, but was most likely only twenty minutes, the circle finally began working. Mana began pouring into the wound on Tiy's side, and slowly but surely, Tiy opened her eyes.
But then a whisper entered Isaac's ears.
"You have done the impossible and cured someone from an unknown infection, and have made a theoretically all curing magic circle."
"You have been offered the title: Star Mender."
"If you accept, you will be given the trait: Diagnosis."
