"We've been called in to help the CIA track down the ones responsible for the mass murders. Our job is only to find the ones responsible and bring them in. We do not under any circumstances take care of them, at least not until they've been convicted. It'll be tough but with Ethan with us we shouldn't be too outmatched."
"Now, we're going to divide and concur. Your father and I will be the go to guys between the different sectors. One or two groups will be paired with a law enforcement officer, if only to keep the peace. Ethan and Rainbow will be getting their hands dirty going into the crime underbelly, someone is going to speak. Mist and Ivan Donohugh will be working the residents and families of those that are dead. Light and Dulce will be snooping around to see if the secret government factions have anything to do with it. Paris, you'll be working with Micah Donohugh. Watch him, to us it seems like he's dragging his feet a little on this one."
"Any questions?"
"When you say that we'll be getting our hands dirty, does that mean I have permission to go all out? Ethan has never seen me use anything other than weapons so,"
"You have our permission. Use any force necessary Rainbow, we don't have time for games."
"Okay, sorry in advance if I scare you for half a second Ethan,"
"I don't want you killed because you were worried about scaring me off kitten."
"Alright, you have your tasks so move out."

After getting their mission briefing, Ethan and Rainbow left the diner.
"We can take my car,"
"No problem since I didn't drive,"
"Anywhere specific you wanted to start kitten?"
"I think I'll follow your lead on this one since that's your playground,"
"Alright, but we'll stop by my place first to grab some things."
Ethan started the engine and headed out to his place. Upon arrival they both got out and went to the front entrance. They entered but then he stopped her from going further while he made some adjustments with the security system. He pulled her in front of him and began adding her biometrics to his database effectively giving her access.
"Alright you can either explore or follow me inside, your choice,"
"I think I'll go exploring since it's my first time,"
"Okay I'll be back in a few minutes."
With that he left her to her own devices and headed towards his rooms. Going through the motions he repacked his go bag and changed clothes for their visit to the crime underground. Ten minutes later he emerged dressed head to toe in all black to find her on his couch surfing TV channels.
"All set to go kitten, or do you need a few more minutes," he asked amusedly.
"I'm coming," she hurriedly turned everything off and ran to him.
They locked up and headed out to her home so that she could change clothes as well due to the nature of the assignment.

Paris arrived at Micah Donohugh's house an hour after the meeting. He went up and wrung the doorbell and waited patiently for the answer. Thankfully he didn't have to wait long and a butler opened the door.
"Good afternoon, may I help you?"
"Yes, I am trying to meet with Micah Donohugh and was told that he would be home,"
"Wait one moment in the foyer while I inquire if the master is receiving guests at this time,"
"Sure, that is no problem at all," Paris only waited for a few minutes before the butler returned and led him to a sitting room.
"The master is currently in the middle of an important telephone call and has asked that you wait here for him,"
"Thank you for your assistance. If you don't mind me asking, is the relationship between him and his son a good one?"
"I'm unaware of any issues with both my masters,"
"And what about Ivan's mother, is she in the picture still?"
"The madam died after the young master's birth. Outsiders are not privy to further information so please wait quietly until the master arrives,"
"My apologies for overstepping."
Taking out my phone, I fired off a quick message to Mist to investigate the Donohugh family through Ivan and send me the details after. It took at least another hour until he was able to meet Director Donohugh.
"Apologies for the extended wait, I wasn't expecting company,"
"That is quite fine. I am only here to meet up and ensure we were all on the same page going forward,"
"Great. Well let us get down to business."

It had only been an hour after leaving the diner that Mist received orders from Paris to investigate Ivan's family. He got to work immediately starting with what information was publicly available and then digging deeper into the unknown. After finding a few holes in the narrative he then compiled his preliminary report and scheduled a meet up with Ivan to glean more information.
"Ivan, it's Mist. I'll be sending you a location shortly, meet me there in half an hour."
"Got it."
Mist sent the location of a clearing a few kilometers away from the Valentine estate and prepared himself to go out. When it was almost time to meet, Mist headed out. It took him less than ten minutes to arrive in the clearing, however Ivan still managed to beat him there.
"You wanted to talk?"
"Yes. Firstly, the both of us will be partners going forward until this mess is resolved. That means complete transparency with all information gathered."
"That's not a problem. The sooner this is solved the better."
"Good. With that set is there anyone out there that you know of who has a vendetta against the FBI who might be capable of this. Even worse against your family?"
"Not that I am aware of. I haven't offended anybody that would do something this large scale. My mother is not in the picture so even if she did have enemies, I wouldn't know. My father is more complicated but still, nothing rings a bell."
"Alright, run me through everyone who can be considered a suspect in your circle."
"Okay."
