Chapter 5 – The Hoko Brothers
While I was having dinner, I asked the guy who came to the city with me—the one who was talking to me—"Brother, what is your name?"
"My name is Jun."
Jun said, "Brother, be a little careful inside this Outer City."
I said, "Why?"
Jun said, "There are lots and lots of gangsters in the Outer City. The gangsters have their own separate areas, and they even fight over those areas."
I said, "Okay."
Then, after we finished eating there, I got up to pay the bill. On this 9-Star Planet, everything is transacted with Star Beast Cores. That means, just like paper money is used on our Earth, Star Beast Cores are used on this Nine Star Planet. So, I got up and went to the cashier and gave him one Three-Star Beast Core.
He gave me back 80 One-Star Cores.
After this transaction, I understood how the value of Beast Cores works.
The value of a 1-Star Beast Core is 1 Core,
The value of a 2-Star Beast Core is 1-Star Beast Core = 10 Cores,
The value of a 3-Star Beast Core is 1-Star Beast Core = 100 Cores.
In this way, the value of each star increases tenfold.
In this world, Beast Cores—whatever star they are—one completely round stone-like one is One-Star, stone-like with two corners is Two-Star Core. That means, however many corners each core has, that many stars. Hmm.
Jun and I came out of the restaurant together.
I told Jun, "Take me to a hotel, I'll spend the night there, take one room."

I said, "Sorry for asking."

While talking, the two of us arrived in front of Jun's house.

Those two men said, "Hey you son of a pig, Jun, your father took money on interest, you still haven't paid that money yet. Give it quickly, give the money. We came today to take the money. Today either we will take the money or we will take your wife and daughter. Your wife looks decent, her breasts are quite big. She can keep us happy at night. And we will make your daughter a slave and sell her. After that, you won't have to pay any more money."
Jun said, "Hoko Brothers, I gave you the interest money last week. The interest money is supposed to be given again next month."

I looked and saw Jun trembling with fear and tears falling from his eyes. On the other side, Jun's mother, Jun's wife, and daughter—three of them were hugging each other, trembling with fear and crying along with it.
So seeing all this, my head was hurting. I couldn't be patient anymore.
So I said, "Hoko Brothers, you just need girls, right? You will have fun with those girls, that's it. There's no need to do all this for that. Come with me."
Hoko Brothers said, "Who are you? We have never seen you."
I said, "I am Jun's friend. Whether I give or Jun gives, it's the same thing. You just need to get girls, right? So let's go to your gang's hangout place."
Hoko Brothers told me, "Then come on. If you can't give, we will come and take your friend's wife."
I also started going with Hoko Brothers.

I heard but stayed silent and went with them to their hangout.
I went and told those two, "You and your boss and everyone get together in one place."
Those two said, "Why?"

Then I saw that out of those 31 people, not a single one was left. It was impossible to tell what had happened there.
After that, I quietly went back to Jun's house. I stood in front of the door and called out to Jun.
Jun opened the door and looked at me in surprise.
I looked and saw Jun had a bandage on his head.
I said, "Let me come inside."
Jun said, "Hey come come. I have kept hot water ready and made a nice bed for you to sleep."
Jun asked me, "Brother, what did you tell them? What did you give them?"
I said, "What I did, you will hear tomorrow. Now let me relax a bit, brother. And introduce me to your family."
Jun said, "Yes okay brother." Jun called all his family members and said, "This is my brother. We met on the way here." Jun called out to me, "By the way brother, what is your name? I forgot to ask."
Hearing this, my head almost exploded.
I said, "Just call me brother."
Jun said, "Okay fine." He called his mother and said, "Mom, this is my friend. I trust him a lot."
Jun called his wife and said, "Wife, this is your brother-in-law. Take good care of him from today."
Jun called his daughter and said, "This is your uncle. Behave nicely with him, don't be naughty."
"Everyone listen. My friend is coming to this city for the first time, so he doesn't know or recognize anything."
I said, "Thank you so much for letting me stay at your house tonight."
Saying this, I went to take a bath.
After bathing and coming out, I saw Jun's mother, daughter, wife, and Jun standing in front of me with their heads bowed, thanking me a lot.
I said, "It's okay." I called Jun and said, "Jun, where is my bed? I'm feeling very sleepy."
Then Jun showed me my bed. I lay down.
Lying there, I was thinking to myself—how suddenly a person's life can change. Where I was struggling with pain and trouble in my life, now there is no tension at all in my life. Whatever I want, I can do it whenever I want. There is only one problem right now—every day I have to feed 25 souls to my GOD Seed. So many people have thousands and thousands of problems, and I only have one problem. Thinking about all this, I fell asleep…
