After five days, Daniel's sister Mary called and invited him to India. She asked him to come with his daughter and a few servants for at least twenty days, as she had arranged the weddings of both her son and daughter with a reputed business family.
Mary had stayed in the USA for fifteen days, and before leaving, she told Rose, "Come along with your father to India. Stay for a month and enjoy your cousins' weddings." They happily accepted the invitation.
The next day, Mary returned to India. Nearly twenty days passed, and the time for the wedding celebrations drew near. Daniel, along with his daughter Rose, a few maids, and some employees, traveled to India to attend the grand occasion and planned to stay for about twenty to twenty-five days.
Mary's house, located in North Delhi, sprawled across three acres and was beautifully designed. As the wedding dates approached, the entire house buzzed with excitement, with arrangements happening everywhere.
One day, while walking through the grand building, Rose curiously asked her aunt, "Where is the function being arranged?"
Mary smiled and replied, "Just wait. This evening, I'll take you there. It's very close to our house."
That evening, Mary took Rose to the function hall. The moment they entered, Rose was mesmerized. The hall was magnificently decorated with shimmering lights, fresh flowers, and a soothing fragrance that filled the air.
"Oh my God! It's so beautiful!" Rose exclaimed in awe.
Mary laughed gently and said, "Yes, it's quite grand. We have separate rooms for guests, your staff, and the maids. There are also dining halls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."
After showing her around, Mary added, "Let's head back home now. In two days, we'll move here and stay during the wedding."
Rose nodded with excitement.
Back at home, Mary introduced Rose to some of her close family friends. The evening passed pleasantly with warm conversations and laughter.
Later, when they returned, Daniel asked with a slight smile, "Where did you both go, leaving me all alone?"
Rose replied playfully, "I insisted that Aunt show me the function hall, so she took me there."
Daniel chuckled, and just like that, the day came to a peaceful end, filled with anticipation for the celebrations ahead.
