Chapter 8 - AARVAN CH 7-THE NEW ENTRY

previous chapter, Sai and his friends finally managed to defeat Karma.

However, just as things seemed to settle, a voice echoed from the shadows—

"So… you managed to defeat them."

Sai immediately turned, his eyes sharp.

"Who are you? And why are you after us? What do you want?"

Before the tension could rise further, Kay spoke weakly—

"Wait… he's… our friend…"

Everyone froze in shock.

"Friend? How?" Sai and Jai asked at the same time.

Kay took a deep breath.

"He's my master… I used to live with him…"

The man stepped forward.

"I'm sorry… I scared you all. But I had no intention of harming you."

His gaze suddenly shifted to Zixu.

"What happened to him? Move aside!"

Sai clenched his fists.

"I don't know what that thing did to him… please, save him. I'll owe you my life."

Without wasting time, Roy stepped forward.

"Move."

He plucked a few strands of his hair, and to everyone's shock, they transformed into medicinal herbs.

Sai's eyes widened.

"How did you do that?"

Roy shook his head.

"This isn't my power… it belongs to Kay."

Sai frowned.

"Explain."

Roy nodded slowly.

"One day, a group of people came to our village. They started capturing powerful Avtarans. Kay is my friend… I tried to protect him, but I got severely injured."

His voice turned heavy.

"To save me, Kay tried to transfer his power into me… but before it was complete, they took him away. I only received half of it… and Kay lost his ability."

Kay continued quietly—

"Without my power, I was abandoned… but my ability was special. I could heal any disease. That's why they came after me… and ended up capturing Roy instead."

Sai's expression darkened.

"Do you know who they were?"

Kay nodded.

"Phantom Squad."

For a moment, Sai went silent.

"That name… could it be the same group my father was chasing…?"

He looked back at Kay.

"Do you know where they went?"

"I escaped… but I saw some of them heading toward Kaiga Town."

Sai didn't hesitate.

"Then we're going there. Will you come with us?"

Roy shook his head.

"No. The villagers here are in critical condition. We have to stay."

Kay smiled faintly.

"I'm sorry… I have to go too. But… thank you. These moments… I won't forget them."

Sai nodded.

"Come find us anytime. We'll be somewhere in this forest."

---

Just then, Zixu suddenly regained consciousness and hugged Sai tightly.

"Oyy Sai! I knew you'd save me!"

Sai smirked.

"Next time, try not to die. We barely survived today."

Zixu laughed.

"You barely survived… I was already dead if that doctor didn't show up!"

In the corner, Jai was quietly crying.

"I saved everyone… and the credit goes to the doctor… what a cruel world…"

Sai walked over and patted his shoulder.

"Oyy, you're our hero. Don't be sad. Reach Kaiga Town and I'll treat you."

Jai instantly lit up.

"Really?"

"Of course."

"HIP HIP HOORAY!"

---

Soon, the group resumed their journey toward Kaiga Town.

After walking for some time—

"Oyy Jai," Sai called out, "look around. You evolved now, right?"

Jai grinned.

"Now it's going to be fun. I've got powers too."

---

A little later—

"Hey… look over there," Jai pointed.

In the distance stood a broken structure.

"Looks like a hotel… but it's completely ruined."

Sai's stomach growled.

"I don't care. I'm starving. Let's go."

Zixu raised a hand.

"Wait. Let me check something."

He pulled out his laptop and searched quickly.

"It's a hotel… but it's been abandoned for three years. No one comes here."

Sai shrugged.

"Even better. Maybe we'll find something to eat."

---

As they stepped inside, dust filled the air.

"Damn… no one's cleaned this place for years," Sai muttered.

Suddenly—

A stick spun violently through the air, heading straight toward Jai.

"WATCH OUT!"

Zixu jumped in and caught it mid-air.

He frowned.

"It's… light?"

Sai grabbed it—

—and instantly collapsed.

"WHAT THE HELL?! It's so heavy! How are you holding this?!"

Zixu narrowed his eyes.

"This isn't normal…"

---

Then—

A massive shadow moved across the wall.

"…Did you see that?" Sai whispered.

"Looked like a monkey…" Jai said nervously.

Zixu shook his head.

"No… that wasn't a monkey."

A pause.

"…It felt like an Avtaran."

Sai smirked.

"Good. This might get interesting."

---

As they moved deeper inside—

Something felt… wrong.

Jai and Zixu suddenly stopped.

Their expressions turned strange.

"Let's play…" Jai said slowly.

Sai frowned.

"Oyy, stop joking. I'm not in the mood."

Zixu repeated—

"Let's play…"

Sai's eyes sharpened.

"Who are you?"

Silence.

"Come out."

---

Two identical figures stepped out from the darkness.

Twin Avtarans.

Sai exhaled.

"So it was you… messing with us."

Before he could react—

They laughed.

And vanished.

---

Suddenly, the stick moved on its own.

It wrapped around Sai's leg—

—and lifted him upside down.

"OY! What do you want?!"

He struggled mid-air.

"Stop playing games and show yourselves!"

---

Then—

A voice echoed from the entrance.

Cold. Sharp.

"Who are you…?"

A pause.

"And what are you doing here?"

The air grew heavy.

"Leave. Now."

Sai, still hanging upside down, groaned—

"Bro... What how can i leave.. First took me down i am hanging here
