Aren's eyes narrowed.

The hallway in front of him cracked.

Like a tear in reality itself.
From inside the crack—
Something stepped out.

A shape made of broken light and shadow.
Its presence crushed the air instantly.
Aren couldn't breathe properly.
His body resisted it.
His instincts screamed.

"…So this is one of them," Aren muttered.

And spoke.
"Zero detected."
Aren froze.

"…Stop calling me that," Aren said quietly.
The entity moved forward.

"We remove errors," it said.
The space around Aren began to collapse.
Walls dimmed.
Lights died.
Sound disappeared.
Aren dropped to one knee again.
Pain hit his chest.

Aren looked at his hand.
The same unstable blue-black glow returned.
But stronger now.
Controlled… slightly.
"…So you are inside me," he whispered.
The entity stopped.
For the first time.
"…Impossible," it said.
Aren slowly stood up.
Shaking.
But no longer helpless.
"If I'm an error," he said, voice low,
"then I'll become the one thing your system can't erase."
The system exploded in light.

The entity stepped back.
For the first time… uncertain.
And then—
Aren moved.
Not fast.
Not powerful.
Just decided.
The air around him cracked.
A small shockwave spread.
The entity was pushed back.
Silence.

Aren panted.
"…I can fight back."
A pause.
Then—
A faint voice returned.
Not system.
Not entity.
That same unknown whisper.
"…Finally…"
Aren's eyes sharpened.
"Who are you?"
No answer.
Only darkness inside the crack watching him.

Something else opened its eyes again.
