Jay's POV
Today is my birthday! I was so excited but no one was home?! Amelia and Angelo went on a date Tita, Keiran, Keigan and Dad went shopping for maybe my presents? Aries went to Ella's house and Section E still hadn't called?! Percy, Me and Keifer are the only ones home weird he wasn't even in my room tonight and Percy is awfully quiet.
That's when the doorbell rang and Keifer went to the front door the second he opened the front door Honey was standing there holding a present Why the hell is she here but if that present is for me I might just not kick her out hehehe. Priorities. Honey walked in and took Keifer's hand?! And Keifer squeezed her hand Jay looked angry but she composed herself like she did at the office.
Honey: Hi Jay.
Jay: Hey.
The word was bitter on Jay's tongue but she forced down the hurt knawing in her chest.
Honey: I hope you don't mind I came to see Keifer.
Jay: Huh oh no it's no big deal.
Keifer: Honey let's go to my room.
To his room excuse me this is my house every room in this house is mine! Ugh I'm getting jealous is he doing this on purpose I will not let myself get jealous Jay get it together!
Keifer and Honey went upstairs and Percy came down and silently left the door. That's weird.
After a while Jay went upstairs and peeked through the keyhole Keifer was holding Honey's hand and they were whispering Why do I feel so hurt ugh! Of course I love him but I can't be selfish now can I? He's not just mine he can talk to other girls as well.
Jay went to her room closing the door with a soft but audible thud and sank into her bed clutching her pillow to her chest crying silently. Did he really forget my birthday?
Keifer's POV
Keifer heard Jay's door shut Good. Honey left when her door closed her face a mixture of disgustion and guilt. Keifer lay down on his bed closing his eyes Why do I feel like I forgot something? Oh well my plan worked Jay's jealous now hehehe.
The Next Day
Keifer's POV
Keifer went downstairs to he kitchen and everyone had sad and guilty looks on their faces Jay wasn't there nor was Amelia. That's when Tita Serena looked at him her voice was a mix of guilt and self hatred on herself.
Tita: Good morning dear.
Keifer: Hi everyone what's up why do you all look guilty?
Jasfher: We forgot a special day.
Keifer: What special day?
Percy: Oh no he forgot as well that's why she was so sad.
Keifer: Huh who?
Angelo: It's about Jay yesterday it was her 18th birthday it was her debut.
Keifer's face visibly paled he forgot I forgot oh no no no that's why she was angry and sad yesterday! Oh no I need to apologize.
Keifer: Did she say... anything?
Keiran: Ate Jay looked like she'd cried.
Keifer paled even more.
Keifer: Are you all sure?
Percy: Yeah I'm sure she had red eyes.
Keifer audibly gulped.
Keifer: I-I need to go.
Keifer shot out of the house before anyone could say anything one thing in his mind Apologize say sorry and make it up to her.
